Just got back from Costa Rica, Evergreen Lodge was the first place we stayed at after leaving San Jose.

I don't recall seeing a hairdryer. Depending on how long you stay - if it is 2 days, wash & dry your hair the night before you arrive and let the humidity take care of it - I loved the effect. However if you have tendency to wash your underwear and socks in the sink, you need to have the hairdryer to dry it, otherwise you will wait for 3-4 + days. Even my books needed 'drying' for simply being there.
