The hotel is perfectly located in Tortuguero. You can walk to all shops and restaurants, the boat dock, and even to Tortuguero parc. The rooms are different in size. We had a large one on the waterfront and a smaller one with a window at street side. The place is clean, but noisy, and has a beautiful deck at the...

Cute hotel on the main Tortuguero canal. Daryl arranged for us a very interesting boat tour to the national park which is really closeby. We spotted several species of birds, a snake, a few caymans and plenty of monkeys. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Marbella very much. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very nice, we loved the breakfast and the chairs on the terrace with canal view. Thank you very much!

Simple, clean and very friendly. Ideal spot for kids. Went on a tour at 5.45am with local guide Raphael, he was a gold-mine of fascinating information and we spent an unforgettable 3 hours travelling through the waterways spotting wildlife. Weather was kind so we were lucky enough to see caiman, monkeys, sloths, tamandua, turtles and a plethera of different birds.

We stayed here for three nights and due to our late booking, we had to move rooms each night. This was no problem at all, the staff were lovely and friendly and happy to move our bags for us when we wanted to head out early. The best room was definitely the upper floor room with the river view, stunning!...

This cute B&B had the right mix of a great location in the village but still river-side with lovely views, reasonable prices, good breakfasts and helpful service. Communication from my initial inquiry through my departure was prompt and useful, answering my questions and helping me to book tours. I took a ground-level "street-side" room because of availability and budget -...

My boyfriend had a nice stay in Casa Marbella. We found the owner was helpful and polite, although I wouldn't go so far as to say friendly. The rooms are basic and clean and the view out over the water was really nice. From what we saw of Tortuguero it was probably the nicest place to stay in the town,...

Casa Marbella B&B is right on the main canal which provides easy access to view wildlife both inside and outside the National Park. You can use their canoe for free. Their breakfasts are quite good and they vary them during the week. The owner Daryl Loth is very engaging with his guests and is very knowledgeable being a guide himself....
