We arrived at Saladero after spending 4 nights at 2 other very nice ecolodges on the Peninsula de Osa. Saladero was like being home but in paradise! The beautiful Golfo Dulce is calm enough to swim, snorkel, and kayak. Harvey and Susan were outstanding hosts to us and became friends after our 3 night stay. Our children ages 9 and...

We spent two weeks in Costa Rica as a family and we all agreed that Saladero Ecolodge run by Harvey and Susan was the highlight of our vacation. Deep in the jungle with access to the warm waters of Gulfo Dulce gave us so many options for our time. It was hard to decide -- we all loved snorkeling, kayaking...

Truly a unique lodge. Literally has something (many things) for everyone. Best wildlife viewing I've found in CR. From pigs to porpoises, monkeys to macaws. Best nearshore snorkeling I've had on the Pacific side as well, clearest water and most species (and big fish!). I came for the kayak fishing and it didn't disappoint. Big African pompano, golden trevally and...

Spent three wonderful days here with my partner and loved every minute of it. Wonderful chats with Harvey and Susan and biologist Ian about everything under the sun. Great swimming and snorkelling and kayaking and hiking! Idyllic location in quiet corner of the Golfo Dulce! A garden paradise with calm aquamarine waters on one side and pristine primary rainforest on...

I spent two weeks exploring the Osa Peninsula in late February, early March 2017. I was travelling with 5 friends (all women 50+) and we stayed in the Glamping cabins at Saladero for 3 nights. We loved the lodge and our hosts Harvey and Susan. It was peaceful, but there was always plenty to keep us busy. Ian, the on-site...

Saladero is in a category of its own. Located on the Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, this rainforest style lodge is accessible only by boat. I really loved how remote is was, as we reached this location by sea kayaks. Pristine and surrounded by a National Park, we felt in complete touch wiht Nature!

We spent the month of February in Costa Rica and made sure our last 4 days were spent at Saladero Eco Lodge...saving the best for last! Harvey and Susan along with their staff are truly the most wonderful people who have become life long friends. This peaceful paradise has so much to offer. We kayaked and went snorkeling every day,...

We stayed in the aptly named "Tree House" for six nights at the end of January - early February. It's the most remote room from the lodge proper, but I thought it was well worth the extra steps! I tried to count them (I think there are 80-some) but always lost count when some interesting creature or flower caught my...

Where to start with this place?! We had such a super time at Saladero first time around that we returned for our final two nights in Costa Rica. Harvey and Susan are lovely people and what they and their team are doing at Saladero is incredible. Saladero is not just a fantastic place to spend a few nights of their...

Saladero Eco Lodge was the first stop on our pre-retirement vacation. Harvey picked us up at the PJ airport and took us by small boat to the lodge where Susan, the staff and guides made us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed in the Tree House for three nights and were amazed by how much we appreciated being off the...
