This was our first venture to Costa Rica, and our family of four spent a week at Villa Manuel Antonio in March on the second level up!! Amazing location, great Villa with everything you need. Our other four relatives were booked in somewhere a few kms away, though they liked their place, they loved ours and the area so close...

My husband and I stayed on the ground level with four teenagers. The view is beautiful and there was plenty of space. Saw monkeys all along the fence and in the trees the first day but after that they were mainly in the trees by the pool. We like wildlife and saw plenty of interesting critters in the little lawn...

We stayed at villa Manuel Antonio for 9 days in early February. We stayed at the ground level unknowingly but would have preferred a higher floor. Nonetheless we have a great view of the ocean. The villa was equipped with the necessities to cook which we did almost every day. Grocery stores are located nearby and carry all that you...

Villa Manuel Antonio met all of our group of 28 needs, plus more! The views were awesome, the large, outdoor table for our meals was perfect, and the rooms were spacious and clean! Lorenzo was very helpful with contacts for tours and very willing to help in anyway possible. Chef Tito recommended for our stay by Lorenzo, provided excellent meals...

It was our first trip to Costa Rica, and our group of five spent a week at Villa Manuel Antonio, occupying the top three floors. Amazing! The rooms/bathrooms were excellent, the beds very comfortable, the views beautiful. We have several friends that live in Costa Rica (including two Ticos) who have spent much time in MA, and they were just...

Having held our annual July Root 2 Rise Yoga "Yoga, Culture & Nature Adventure Retreat" at Villa Manuel Antonio since 2014, I'm grateful to have met Lorenzo, the villa's caretaker and owner, during my year living in Manuel Antonio years prior. A pleasure to work with, he provides a clean and luxury villa that's central to the small town and...

My family and I stayed at this villa during our recent trip to Costa Rica for a wedding. It was very beautiful, and I loved how close it was to everything, but still private. The wifi worked better than I expected (as older reviews on here said it was spotty). It wasn't perfect, but I had no issues connecting to...

We had a great experience here! This is a higher end villa with all the things needed to be a home away from home. Its in a great location near great shops/restaurants. The pool stays cool and the deck has a breathtaking view. We would stay here again.

Cheers! We are looking forward to visiting world's most breathtakingly beautiful, pristine, tropical paradise / nature preserve !!! Well be in Costa Rica 3 weeks during mid-October for Dental surgery M-F, & would love to visit Manuel Antonio for 1-2-3 weekends, arriving Fri pm dinner - Mon am breakfast. We wish to be good guests! We are concerned about our dietary restrictions, & this note inquires about meals:

We don't plan to rent a car, & wish to remain at our hotel after dark. We eat only vegetarian diet- No animal, no dairy (No animal ingredients, no milk / eggs / yogurt /cheese / etc.). Due to Dental surgeries & extensive Dental work, we'll need soft foods only. Due to various health reasons, we must eat a low-fat, 0-salt diet (no added salt / oils). We enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, + fish occasionally. We love Gallo pinto!

Due to dietary restrictions, we are quite unsure whether we should come at all- We want to be good guests! Please advise: Is breakfast served? If yes, are vegetarian choices available? What is cost? Are there affordable local eateries within walking distance?

*** Idea: Is there any chance (?) that you may know of a local Tica, whom we may hire to come once daily, to do all grocery shopping, & prepare / refrigerate plentiful meals & snacks? (2 Adults, 2-4 day stay)? mid-October.

We prefer, & are humbly grateful to hire a (local) Tica- not a "professional chef"! We hope to enjoy fresh, local meals- nothing "fancy"! Arrive Fri night - Mon am; Possibly 2- 3 consecutive weekends during mid-October.

Much appreciation for any info!
