Los Altos is in a great location in Manuel Antonio-right off the main road. We were 4 people-2 adults and 2 young adult children-stayed in a Rainforest Suite. To call this a hotel room does not do justice-it is a HUGE suite (kitchen, living room, balcony, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms). The elevator opens right into the suite! Great accomodations....

Before even stepping foot here, the staff was fantastic about communicating to answer questions and arrange transport from San Jose and tours/spa treatments for during our stay. The Penthouse was AMAZING in every way shape or form and worked perfect for a group of 8--every room has a balcony. The views, well, you'll have to see for yourself! Amenities were...

We had high hopes and looked forward to our stay based on some of the reviews. While the staff was nice enough, every other aspect disappointed. Each condo has the elevator that stops at the particular floor and supposedly needs a key. The problem occurs when you want to leave and push the elevator button: on 2 occasions the door...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. As always, we're grateful to hear from our guests even when it's clear that we did not meet expectations. Although you only provided us with a two star review, we are happy to read your kind words regarding our staff. We work incredibly hard day...

When your private elevator stops in your suite you know you have arrived to luxury. We had a 3 bedroom place for the two of us, fun getting lost, wonderful accommodations with all the bells and whistles. Prepare your own meals or dine locally. Very modern design, lots of space, hard to leave!

Odd comes to mind with Los Altos. I'll start by mentioning that the entrance was under construction, which always throws a place off. The positives: large, large accommodations, nice sunset view (we had the penthouse), and a nice pool. Everything else felt a little off, like maybe the hotel opened too early, ahead of itself. There are a lot of...

My family stayed at Los Altos few years ago. We enjoyed it so much we decided to return, and it was worth it! If anything, as the hotel is now a few years old, they have had some time to improve it. We liked it the first time we were there, but now everything seems to be a bit smoother...

I really don't have enough good things to say about Los Altos. We stayed here (my mother, sister, father and I) for 5 days last week- and it greatly exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. The condo/apartment was HUGE- almost too much space. The pool was absolutely beautiful, with amazing service, clean amenities, and an unparalleled view....

Our suite at Los Altos was luxurious and spacious. The view was not impressive but we knew we weren't paying for a sweeping vista when we selected our suite. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals. Breakfasts were ample and varied. There were sufficient choices on the menu allowing us to choose light lunch meals. My one complaint is that the...

The hotel didn't have our reservation - I reserved through Orbitz but had emailed with the hotel several times prior to arrival. They had a room for us but it wasn't ready until after six for check-in. The rooms are huge with full kitchen (I think they have some smaller rooms too). There are three bedrooms but as far as...
