The hotel is not located at the beach with all the bars, fortunately! But it is at the road that leads there and the bus takes you every 15 minutes to the beaches and the entrance of the National Park, only 10-15 minutes away. Friendly reception. The rooms are not new, but functional and OK. Our room hat ventilators and...

I enjoyed my stay here. We were looking for a decent hotel relatively close to the beach in Manuel Antonio. The grounds are like something out of "Night of the Iguana": bright white structures set in a tropical landscape, with iguanas everywhere. I counted dozens on the walkways, in pipes, on the lawn. The rooms were decent sized but nothing...

...but not the best either. This hotel has a fabulous location, and is evidently a wonderful place to watch an eclipse. However, the accommodations were pretty run down, in need of an update. We were a large group and booked 13 rooms. Each one was very different. Most had a funky smell, and there were just general upkeep problems. There...

This is not a bad hotel what's so ever. I read that the rooms were unclean and that there were lots of bugs so I was really worried until I got there. The room was clean and we didn't see a single bug in the room. Not one. The service was decent, not the best we received in Costa Rica...

Overall fair, would not use again. Everything here was worn out. Kitchen appliances, towels, hardware were all dated and very worn. The hotel gardens and the rooms on the outside are gorgeous however the inside of them (even we were staying on a suite) looks like a different hotel. To make it worse a huge roach was inside the room...

I booked this hotel during Easter week. The experience was great! It was well above my preliminary expectations. I read some previous reviews before my arrival that made me had seconds thoughts... but it turned to be a great experience among friends. (+) clean room (extra points!), (++) excellent food at El Gato restaurant, (+) mirror at the entrance (nice!),...

locations is great, the price was fine. BUT, in our room there weren't any hot water, the telephone stopped working so I had to walk while it was raining to the reception, to let them know there are no hot water. they couldn't fix it so they gave us a key to another room... to use there the bath. And...

The outside of the Hotel Casitas Eclipse was gorgeous, with beautiful grounds. Based on the Trip Advisor reviews I had read before staying here, however, I knew not to get my hopes up. I'm glad I didn't. Pros: Lots of animals and birds on the grounds - white-faced monkeys, agouti, toucans, iguanas, walking sticks, and sloths. Nice swimming pools (the...

I've read some of the reviews and have been a little puzzled. Granted we rented one of the villa's on the property that was privately owned called the Villa Titi but it's on the same grounds and has use of the pools, room cleaning, etc. The lady at the front desk was very helpful (quick traveling tip--try speaking spanish even...

This was our second stop on our Groupon deal. Our first hotel seemed better maintained and newer so I felt some letdown when we first got into our room. I got over it pretty quickly when I just let myself enjoy being in the middle of the rain forest. Our room was very spacious with a small kitchen. We had...
