The place was rundown, dirty and the lights were dim. Bathroom smelled awful and the bed was very uncomfortable. We stopped here for the jacuzzi, but it was broken. Didn't see the owners once. It was a spacious room for $50 but we moved on...far from town, beach and park.

This hotel is situated off the main road in the hills that lead to the Manuel Antonio national park, we got a great deal on this hotel off season thru booking.com. Our room was in front of one of the 2 pools and 2 jacuzzi pools that are a great asset to this hotel. Simple breakfast of eggs or pancakes...

This was my least favorite hotel during our Costa Rican vacation. Our room was on the lower level and it felt dark and damp. The air condition did work and we appreciated that. But everything else felt dingy. The best part was the eating area. I think they contracted that out. The guy that ran the breakfast/bar area did a...

Stayed here as part of a tour group. The front of the hotel and reception area are both very lovely. My entire group all seemed to have really awesome rooms. The room I shared could have fit 7 people and there was two of us in there! The air con was much appreciated and the bathroom was insane! Me and...

The hotel rooms are comfortable nonetheless they don't change the towels everyday and everything from the other rooms can be heard. Also, the parking space is insufficient when the hotel is full. The restaurant's food is quite nice. I recommend the shrimp rice and rice and beans.

Hotel Mimos was a temporary one night stay due to a double booking of our previous accommodation. The room was lovely with air conditioning which was a welcome change as we had been sleeping with fans for 5 nights. The room was large and clean we had 2 large double beds with a small balcony. The hotel had two pools...

It may not look like much from the road but once you enter the complex it is lovely, with many unique room styles in 3 different buildings. Rooms are large with lots of storage space, the staff keep them very, very clean, no bugs! The 2 large pools are clean and refreshing. The extensive rock work is lovely. We stayed...

Located on the hill between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, Hotel Mimos was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica. The local bus stops right outside so getting around is simple. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was massive for 2 people but very nice and rustic. The hotel has some lovely grounds, along with...

At our last stop on our Costa Rica tour, my husband and I were upgraded to the honeymoon suite. It was absolutely amazing! The room is spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly. It is a great location on the bus route as well. The only downfall was the restaurant. The waitress was...

The room key did not work from inside, they locked us in the room all night until the morning hours! Thank God we had no health issues! (no phone in the room to call). Hair in the shower.Breakfast was ridiculous. Good location.
