Lovely large rooms with views of the Pacific over the jungle canopy. Nice patio with hammock in each unit. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus stop for Manuel Antonio located near the door and less than a dollar to ride down the 2.5 KM hill to the preserve entrance. Breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, eggs, rice/beans, and coffee/tea included... More

Our 4th time over the past 10 years and the property is still as pretty and accommodating as ever! The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable about tour opportunities, restaurants or just relaxing! The property is well-kept and not for the loud party-goers which are found at a other properties in the area. Truly a remarkable spot. Great for bird... More

You know when you have had a long drive and you just want somewhere comfortable and relaxing to crash. Many places we stayed in Costa Rica met those requirements but not Villas Nicolas. Each unit is owned individually and hence is furnished individually. We stayed in number 9 which is large and has a balcony with a great view but... More

The town of Manuel Antonio is known for its national park with an abundance of wildlife and its breathtaking views of the ocean. The latter is also what you get at Villas Nicholas, a small resort tucked away in a beautiful garden. Each room has its own terrace facing the sea, a very pleasant place to linger. You can also... This was the best stay of any hotel in my 10 day Costa Rica trip. I would recommend Villas Nicolas to everybody! The suites are spectacular with ocean views and rainforest vistas. There was wildlife viewing right on the property...monkeys, birds, agouti, and even cats came by for a visit.

We had a great time staying here for our honeymoon for a week. We were in the honeymoon suite which is 7 Up. The staff was super friendly and helpful, guests were quiet, room and grounds were clean and the view from our balcony was amazing! We saw 3 kinds of monkeys, sloths, bats, a macaw, a toucan, geckos, and... More

Villas Nicolas has good view of the ocean. We stayed on villa #3 upstairs, big balcony. AC works perfectly but bedding is too thin, so always cold at night. This property is supposed to be ADULTS only but is NOT, so we recommend you call any resort that posts as ADULTS only to confirm policies. Restaurant is almost non-existent, free... More

We stayed here for 5 nights with family and it was wonderful! The rooms are spacious and the lounge & kitchen areas are so nice and well stocked. The verandas are lovely and offer a great view of the rain forest and the coast. We had a room with 3 beds because we were traveling with our daughter (age 9),... More

We stayed here four nights, and the view from the balcony in our room was the highlight. Management staff was friendly, and helpful - they went out of their way to pick up bus tickets from the sales office in Quepos, and also helped us receive a partial refund on national park tickets that we didn't end up using. Room... More
