Everyone was great here, The owner Mike was a great guy and host. His entire staff was so accommodating and all good good people. The bungalow we stayed in was so nice - It was the Parrot, at the edge of the forest. We had a bad experience prior to arriving and Mike did his best to make us feel...

My fiance stayed here one night during our trip to Costa Rica. (We would have stayed longer but only one night was available.) It was perfect for getting up early and walking right into the park (we bought our tickets the afternoon before so we didn't have to wait in line). The room was clean (the "monkey room") and had...

We stayed 3 nights at La Posada, and loved it. The room was comfortable, AC, TV, roomy and great price. Price includes breakfast, which was delicious. They also sometimes offer dinner, which we ate 2 nights. Dinner was a great value and yummy. The location is perfect, next to the entrance of the park, walking distance to beach and town....

My sister and I stayed here recently and Johnathan, Esteban and Mike were fantastic hosts. They arranged our excursions for us and made us feel at home. They even arranged private transfer for us to and from the airport- Mop was great as our driver and National Park tour guide. The free breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the...

What an amazing hotel. We loved it here out of all the places we stayed while in Costa Rica. A small, friendly home away from home. This place is very clean including the pool. :). Mike, showed us a night out on Wednesday night at Dos Locos which we enjoyed very much. They let you know on a daily basis...

My boyfriend and I just spent 5 nights at La Posada, and we couldn't have had a better time! It was his first time in Costa Rica (my 2nd), and I could tell he was getting a bit skeptical of my travel decision making when we turned off the main road onto the gravel road to La Posada (especially after...

This had the potential of being a really great place, but the TV in the community area was on constantly. I'm sure some people enjoyed it, but I go on vacation to get away from that stuff. The staff was great. The pool and gardens around it gorgeous, but the constant drone of the TV ruined it for me.

The location of the hotel is excellent at the National park gate. Go and buy the national park ticket before you eat breakfast. During the breakfast a line has formed at the gate but with you ticket you can go straight in and save a lot of time waiting in line. Bungalows are nice and clean. Small bathroom. Breakfast is...

Perfect location for an early start in Manuel Antiono NP (the hotel is adjacent to the Park entrance), great location as well for the beach (less than 100m from the beach). Very nice staff, very pleasant stay.

Staying at the La Posada was the best part of my week in Costa Rica. The bungalows are very clean, the bathroom worked well (which was not the case at our other hotels), and the amenities are 1st class (TV, phone, microwave, refrigerator, patio, hammock...) The staff members are amazing. Jonathan was very helpful and suggested several places to go...
