This hotel was a good choice for the amount paid. The best part of our stay was the private large patio and the pool. Things that may deter other visitors (but okay with us) is the multitude of insects sharing the location and the access from town - you definitely need a sort of transportation. Some of us like to...

This was what I imagined a Costa Rican cabina would be like. Amazing views, beautiful pool, and wonderful staff. The cabinas are cute with nice little kitchens, common area, large balcony with hammock, and provides good privacy. If you don't mind the critters that wonder at night and a 3000 colones cab ride down the hill this place will be...

Our stay in this hotel was terrific. It's a marvellous location just above Montezuma, so you can enjoy the town and then experience a tranquil setting overlooking the ocean with an absolutely gorgeous view. There's quite a lot to do around Montezuma (waterfalls, hiking, beaches, surfing), and the staff were quite helpful in making suggestions and accommodating all our needs....

We had a fantastic time at Casitas Sollevante! The staff was welcoming, friendly and very helpful; they helped us with activity and dining recommendations and never led us astray. The breakfast (not included in hotel price) was good and is served by the pool, which is nice. The pool was lovely and our room (the upper apartment) was nice; a...

my boyfriend and i stayed at casitas sollevante for ten days. we rented a studio apartment which was exactly what we needed for the duration of our stay. Casitas sollevante is only 10 minutes walk from downtown montezuma and it was great exercise walking to and from town. the property is lively with colours overlooking hills, surrounded by the sounds...

Sorry but this place was a big disappointment. I was under the impression that I was renting a private home from a homeowner and that wasn't the case. We had to share the pool with all the surrounding casitas. I guess this is my own fault for not investigating this further. However, the place was in horrible condition. There were...

Had a great time here staying here for five days with my girlfriend back in May of 2011... I promised the woman working there (can't remember her name unfortunately) that I'd write a review and haven't gotten around to it until now, so things may or may not have changed since we were there, but judging on the pace of...

The rooms and bungalows are situated on a hill some 3 km from the centre of Montezuma. They are situated on a road alongside expensive holiday houses enjoying the benefits of more breeze and view than the hotels in the town itself. The quality of the accommodation is excellent and there is a beautiful pool. The woman who cleans and...

We rented a 2-bedroom villa with a BBQ for 6 nights in March 2013. Fittings are basic, but sufficient. Our villa had a nice patio area with BBQ facility and sea view, where we spent the mornings and evenings. Out of sight of the pool, many birds and flowers. Very hot, but both bedrooms had A/C. Kitchen fittings were bare...

“Make sure you get the rooms w a/c unless heat and/or mosquitoes dont bother you. It is extreemely humid and with no window screens the only other option is to open window and doors. Sun rises directly into doors with curtains that do not block sun so makes for early natural alarm. the windows are tinted so helps keep some heat out.”
