I visited los mineros guest house with three of my friends and it was a wonderful experience !! The place is just magical ! the little bamboo houses are very cozy and cute ! I had a bit of an unusual time here, though this is more because of the surroundings and a personal injury I had acquired before showing up to Dos Brazos, plus the agitation of a broken phone and a passport copy that was soggy to the point of illegibility. When they call the Osa "wild", they really mean it. First...

A special gem in the Costa Rican jungle, we arrived to be greeted and welcomed with open arms by lovely woman of the world & multi linguist Suzanna who spoke English, Spanish, French and German and her two friendly dogs. The lodge itself is right next to Corcovado National Park and is quirky and well kept. Please note that the lodge...

We stayed at Los Mineros around Christmas 2014! The place is amazing and its owners are such caring and helpful people! Prices are affordable and rooms are just perfect and very clean. Suzanne (a multilingual lady who will cook delicious meals for you and try to help you as much as she can) and Chane (the best guide you could...

my stay at this guesthouse was great. perfect as base for unguided walks in the close forests and rivers. but even better for guided tours with Channy (the owner) into the corcovado national park. the bamboo hut was really authentic and I could enjoy the sounds of the jungle.. this village is still very small and there are no tourists...

The guesthouse is an adaptive reuse of a former gold mine outpost; yes, a shower and loo are in former jail cells. The rooms are small, basic, clean and come with moquito nets. The remote location amidst lush nature and bird songs is enchanting whether you spend a day in a hammac or go for a dip in the nearby...

We spent 3 nights there and had a great time. When we arrived, a tucan, 2 caimans, some cute turtles and Suzanna and Gianni welcomed us. Suzanna and her husband Channi manage the old bar of the goldminers and they told us a lot about the history of that place. Channi took us out for the goldtour and the hikingtrip...

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The cabin we stayed in was not in the best shape, but we loved it all the same. If you want to get away from the touristy bits and have a taste of the local life in a really quiet and remote area this is your best bet! The...

Los Mineros Guesthouse is located in Dos Brazos, next door to the Corcovado National Park in the Osa Peninsula. Situated amidst wild jungle Dos Brazos is a rapidly depopulating gold-miners town due to continuous efforts for nature preservation. We learned quite a bit about local history and way of life from Suzanna and Channi who run the Los Mineros. Suzanna...

We arrived in that place in the end of the world, it was incredible. We did a 5 hours hike in the Rio Tigre, in the mountains, we saw a old goldmine and real goldsearchers in the river, but the most impressive is the nature,we were speachless, and we had a great guide Channi the knew all about nature. We'll definitely...
