I ran out of superlatives within minutes of arriving at Luna Lodge! Wonderful days immersed in nature. The owner Lana, her mum and all the staff gave us a very warm welcome and went the extra mile to optimise our experience, thank you so much! Wildlife was everywhere, saw all four monkey species - a highlight being a Spider Monkey...

We came to this hotel in a unique way. We were backpacking, so we were driving our car through the Osa Peninsula on the extremely difficult and bumpy roads. We kept going because of the very encouraging signs that said "you're almost there" and "the hard part is over," which ended up leading to a beautiful hotel in the depths...

Ok, credit where credit is due first. The place is beautiful, gorgeous, spectacular setting in the jungle - it's unbelievably beautiful no denying that. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious with amazing views. A variety of rooms from more rustic and affordable to fancier & higher end. When we arrived we were greeted with fresh juice -...

We just returned from a 5-night stay at Luna Lodge with our family of four - 2 adults, 2 children ages 13 and 16. Luna Lodge sits on top of a steep winding road that rises high into the jungles near the National Corcovado Park on the western coast of the Osa Peninsula. Luna Lodge's remote location makes it truly...

We had a wonderful 5-night-stay in the stunning Luna Lodge. It is an exceptionally well managed hotel - everything runs like clockwork and all of the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel area itself is very beautiful, relaxing and unique in how isolated it is. The room is open in parts and doesn't have air con, etc., so don't go...

My family and I were told of the beauty - so we thought we'd take a drive. The road up is terrifying- no lie - terrifying- only with a strong 4WD! We almost rolled back as we were gong up in our manual transmission. BUT it was worth it! The owner met is at the car with ice cold water...

Luna Lodge must be on the list for "places you should visit before you die" - simply fantastic. I only spent a few hours with my family but the staff treated us as VIP guests. Everything at Luna is breathtaking: the rooms, the view, the yoga place, the food, the spa, etc. Thanks Lana and I will be back!!!

Luna Lodge is an amazing piece of paradise in the Costa Rica jungle! Lana met me and immediately made me comfortable, debriefed me on the basics, and then re-arranged accommodations so I could rest from my long journey. The staff is wonderful and made me feel at home immediately... Claudio makes a mean drink/smoothie & will customize anything you want....

My stay at Luna Lodge was a perfect introduction to Costa Rica. The place is beautiful, serene, and peaceful, yet offers as much adventure as I needed on this trip. My tent was great and I actually enjoyed the long walk up the steps to get there; a great workout! The staff are all polite, helpful, and accommodating. The food...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Secluded in the tropical rain forest bordering Corcovado National Park, Luna Lodge is a unique resort described by many as "...a piece of true paradise". Its appeal is, not only, its natural beauty and environment, where the heliconia hang three feet long, and the howler monkeys wake you in the morning, but also, its ambiance. The owners' passion for the preservation of the forest is ever present, and the attentive courtesy, friendly staff always serve "con mucho gusto... with pleasure". ... more   less
