We stayed at Luna for a week, splitting our time between a tent and a palapa cabin. They were both great. I was concerned that the tent would be too rustic but it was comfy, well screened, with a full private bathroom and felt really remote- the tents are at the top of the property so you get a workout...

Thanks for staying in this overwelming lodge! We had a great time. Walking trails nearby our tentlodge. We have seen lots of spidermonkeys. The howlermonkey woke us at 04.30 so we could see de sun comming up. The food was great and the people of Luna are very, very kind. We have got a great memory to bring home! Lots...

Idyllic setting, individual houses/huts unique and comfortable. Buffet dinners very, very good. Can accommodate vegetarians and vegans. Beautiful grounds and very good nature walks of all sorts--from fairly easy to very demanding. Only negative is that some of the individual houses are so close to the lodge and pool that (1) their view from their house porch is not the...

If you want to see the extraordinary wildlife and flora of the Costa Rican rain forest in comparative luxury, you must visit Luna Lodge. My wife and I spent a wonderful week here in January with a group of photo enthusiasts. We saw and photographed at least 50 different species of birds from the deck of the lodge, on the...

Seeing the video on their web site made me decide to come to this place. It is nice to see such respect to the environment. Yoga with Lana was fantastic. Food could be improved, it is expensive for what it is offered. But I understand logostics are very difficult here. The tents are located very high up and you need...

This is not an easy access place, okay. This is not a cheap place too, okay. The road is not that easy, alright; but when you come here you understand, definitely it worth to be here. While you stay Lana will guide all your needs and she will inform you around this beautiful national park peninsula. We stayed in the...

My son-in-law and I stayed at the Luna Lodge for 3 nights during April of 2014. It was just at the end of the dry season. The owner was wonderful. We are birders/photographers. We were met by our taxi, a 4x4 vehicle, and crossed several streams/rivers to get to the lodge. During this part of our experience the driver stopped...

Looked out from the deck on the first day and saw howler monkeys to one side, spider monkeys leaping from branches on the other, macaws overhead ... you truly are in the rainforest here, and it truly is out on a mission to preserve more primary forest around and bring guests into the sheer wonder of the place and its...

This amazing eco-resort is well worth the slow, bumpy ride on rough roads from puerto Jimenez, however the lodge can also arrange for a Taxi to drive you if you don't have a rental care or don't have a car with 4wheel drive (which is a must for these roads). From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave...

Secluded in the tropical rain forest bordering Corcovado National Park, Luna Lodge is a unique resort described by many as "...a piece of true paradise". Its appeal is, not only, its natural beauty and environment, where the heliconia hang three feet long, and the howler monkeys wake you in the morning, but also, its ambiance.
