We were very pleased with our stay at Mark Corns B&B. He was helpful with planning our trip into the rain Forrest . Our room was clean and comfortable, and his place has a good location. We were able to do all the things we had planned because of his reasonable rates and great location. We enjoyed his outdoor kitchen...

We have been at the Cabinas Tropical in April and it was just a perfect stay. Our plan was to stay just one night but instead we stayed 3 nights. We did one day the corcovado national park, one day kayaking and really enjoyed it. We had a spacious room for 3 persons. The room and the bathroom was very...

Mark assisted us in a very clean and nice room. We also went fishing with a world class fisherman Bobby Mcginnis. Mark set all this up for us. He has not seen the last of me. The fresh fish and fruit were unbelievable. So close to the airport was a big plus we were able to walk to the cabinas...

We stayed last month and had a great time. For the price and amenities, its a great deal. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Loved the outdoor shower. We made a lot of use of the kitchen which helped to cut cost and enjoy the fresh fruit and veggies of Costa Rica. Having a bike to ride around, made available for...

Mark is a very genial host at the Cabinas. He is welcoming and helps you feel settled in quickly, it seems little is a problem. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area, with many recommendations about places to eat or drink. Marcos also has a big network of guides and locals to help organise anything you need for heading in...

I traveled to Costa Rica in July 2012 with three of my friends. We were originally just going to stay at the Cabinas for one night then hit the road the next day. Mark was so helpful and welcoming that we decided to stay another night with him. He cooked a great meal for us and even called someone to...

I have no doubt that I made the best choice when I decided to stay at Cabinas Tropicales. Mark the owner welcomes you and makes you feel at home right away. The cabins are clean and have silent A/C and the beds are confortable. The property has nice gardens and the outside kitchen and area to stay is great. Is...

Great spot to stay before and after Corcovado. Mark is very hospitable and provided great recommendations and directions for activities and restaurants in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable and each has AC, which is a nice touch in steamy Puerto Jimenez. The shared kitchen is great and he also has a couple of bikes that you can...

We booked this hostel spontaneously and the owner was really nice helping us to find another location for the second night since he was booked out already and was giving us a lot of other information as well. We really enjoyed the one night we stayed at this place! The rooms are really clean and modern with air conditioner and...

We returned this year for another dose of fun and chats at the colorful Cabinas-Tropicales. Whether you need permits, food, and guides to hike/fly into the fabulous Osa Corcorvado National Park or do the some of the 'secret' fun things there are to do around Puerto Jiminez, Captain Mark Corn is your man. Many people arrive a bit unprepared for...
