We're not the typical visitor to Crocodile Bay. We had stayed at an ecolodge before arriving here and were looking for some respite from the heat. We're not that into fishing. After staying in an open air place, teaming with wildlife, this place felt very...More
We spent a week here in February and absolutely loved it. We came away with incredible memories and had a great time but the place is not without its flaws. We had a really nice room on the first floor near the entrance. The bedroom...More
This is primarily a fishing experience. I expected a huge number and variety of fish including sailfish, mahi, marlin, grouper, snapper, rooster. I fished four straight days. The first and only onshore day, I got two small roosters and a small jack crevalle all by...More

Thank you very much for your honest review. It is very uncharacteristic of the area to have such a poor bite especially for so many consecutive days and I sincerely appreciate you acknowledging that all the other employees and departments succeeded in providing a...More
This is a service oriented resort. Most times they had already taken care of things before I thought of it . The food is included and well prepared and the menu had a good variety. I fished - inshore was slow but off shore was...More

Having been there in both the wet season (Nov) and dry season (Feb) we definitely preferred Nov. Everything is green and lush and the flowers are in there prime. Feb was the opposite - grass was brown, very few flowers and the trees were sad looking. The dust from the dirt roads was insane;we were covered and had to wash our feet constantly. Due to the hurricane in Nov all fishing was cxl'd when we were at CB so can't comment on that.
They would keep a few edible fish that would be served as your dinner that day. Most of what we caught was catch & release, especially Sailfish & Marlin. There was no vacuum packing or freezing of any fish that I was aware... More
