Just returned from one week here with my son for March Break. First time to Costa Rica, not quite sure what to expect. It was fantastic! Room was highly functional with brand new appliances, free coffee, excellent water, and even a blender for the best smoothies of my life. I have had a lot of smoothies in my life. Free...

It is the best hotel in that area. The staff is really friendly, they help with everything and give good advice. The location of the hotel is very good and just on the beach. Close to the restaurants and the airport. I really recommend!

We stayed here in early February. Had a lot of fun riding the beach cruisers into town and kayaking every day. We had a poolside room which although small had the good fortune of being away from the disco noise others have mentioned. We enjoyed figuring out how to manage with one hanger each, one small shelf for each suitcase....

We spent 1 week at Cabinas Jimenez and I was totally happy with our amenities and especially the staff. This place is a diamond in the rough. I believe most rooms (if not all) offer a small kitchenette (2-3 gas burner stove, microwave, and small refrigerator) for cooking easy meals. But you are also in walking distance of a few...

The desk staff Lea and Annie so kind and helpful. The perk of fresh coffee being provided was a great SUPRISE. The pool is a gem not to be forgotten. We will definitely be back loved the town and its...

My friend and I stayed there for 3 long sleepless nights. Let's start with the few assets this place has : Lea, one of the staff which is very nice and the view on the bay from the cabinas. The bikes we can borrow from the hotel are nice as well. Besides that, nothing great. We had absolutely no hot...

The staff was helpful, informative and most of all accommodating. We stayed there the night before and after our trek to Corcavado. They kept our luggage and watched our car. On top of that the place is very nice, eclectic for sure, but that is the charm of the place. Definitely a place to stay.

This is our 2nd trip to Cabinas Jimenèz and it just keeps getting better and better. John, Jaun Carlos and staff are extremely amenable and make for a very pleasant stay. Three activities that are totally worthwhile to take when you are there are the animal refuge trip across the Golfo where you have interesting encounters with animals, one particular...

As hotels go this is a three star place but it is a great three star place to stay. The staff are all very accommodating and the price is nice as well. It is right on the water so the breeze off of the water is very welcome when it gets hot and humid. Bring your own soap and shampoo!...

I liked the location; nothing better than sittin' on the dock of the bay, and the Golfo Dulce is gorgeous. The staff were helpful; I overheard one guy on the phone ordering breakfast (for the boss, it turned out) and he very sweetly offered to get some for me & my family, too. Plenty of plus points. But: just don't...
