The Blue Banyan is a lovely place to stay, it is in the hills surrounded by jungle and off the beaten track. However, while it feels remote it is only 15 minutes drive to the nearest town, Quepos. It only has three cabins, we stayed in Hibiscus, it was very comfortable and spacious with a great terrace looking towards the...

Blue Banyan Inn is just a couple of kms off the main road, through the palm tree plantations and only a few kms away from the hussle and bustle of Quepos. There are just three chalets onsite and we had booked them all for our family. They were all a very good size with two double beds in each with a...

After 10 minutes drive through a palm tree plantation, you get to this little gem. The property is located close to Quepos but without the crowd (count the plantation drive then another 5 minutes drive gets you to the Quepos Marina- worth a visit for fine dining and some souvenir shopping, another 10' will get you to Manuel Antonio NP)....

BBI place is perfet, in the middle of the jungle, only 4km from the main road and very close to the center of Quepos and Manuel Antonio Parc. The swimming pool is also very enjoyable and the cottages are far one from the other, which guarantee a true intimacy. Nevertheless, we experienced a pretty poor service, we did not feel...

$240 dollars for 4 adults!!!!! Are you absolutely kidding me. Let me be absolutely honest,The kids saving the rain forest is an incredible organization and the volunteers were fantastic. My concern is with the link to the Blue Banyan Inn.The tour promised a tour of the Clinic which was fantastic and the conservation student was knowledgeable and extremely personable however...

This place has mostly stellar reviews but we were puzzled by the very few reviews with complains. So here's our experience First, the location is stunning and the bungalows very comfortable. The place is very quiet and it did get us closer to the reason why we came to Costa Rica. It is very affordable for the quality of what...

What a gem! I will admit it was a little difficult to find and a bit frustrating but otherwise what a find. In the middle of no where which is exactly what we wanted. Traveling on a dirt road through palm plantations was absolutely beautiful. Chip was wonderful to deal with and meeting all the volunteers from Kids Saving the...

Although we weren't aware of the remote location when we first arrived at BBI after a long day of traveling, the way Vurnita welcomed us was heartwarming. Although BBI is a bed and breakfast and does not have a restaurant and there are no facilities in the neighbourhood, she gave us some pasta and vegetables and a cookie-dessert, so we...

First of all, it took us about one hour to find this location once arrived to Quepos. It was dark and we didn’t get any information from the owners on how to get here. Luckily I speak Spanish otherwise we would never find it. Once we finally arrived (7pm), nobody was really here to welcome us and when they finally...

Thank you for reviewing our hotel and I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay here. I have a few comments about you review: -Did you specifically ask for directions to us? I will admit that sometimes folks do have trouble getting here but most ask up front for direction or use directions from the internet to get to...
