This gorgeous place is run by a super accommodating family who ensures your visit to CR is exceptional. So much so, they'll booby trap you with words and sedate you with charm, so you'll never want to leave. My friend and I were fortunate/unfortunate enough to get past the gate. I feel it is safe to characterize this place to...

I stayed with a friend at Villa Jacquelina. We planned to stay for a couple nights, and ended up extending to a whole week. The place: the hotel is nice, the patios are amazing to hang out and meet people. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The common area is also great to hang out, play board games, socialize. The...

Nice place, 3 nice terrasses, enjoyed the hammock and the pool. It has a superb view and the host Steve is very helpful. The rooms and kitchen area is really clean. I stayed here for two weeks in February of this year and it was amazing. Steve and his staff were just amazing and made me feel right at home. Made a few meals in the communal kitchen, hung out on the amazing patio drinking fresh coconut water, listened to music, swam in the pool and made new friends. Just a...

Seven months we ended up staying here! Right away I loved the colors, the cleanliness, the beautiful views, and welcoming feel of it. Steven is so friendly and laid-back, yet is so on top of any maintenance and manicuring that needs to be done, as well as attentive to helping make your stay comfortable and fun. And the staff is...

We spent five great nights at the Villas. It was the perfect fit for our family of four. We stayed in the three bed with bathroom and paid extra for the air. Three beautiful "decks" to chill on (with wifi, we couldn't get in our room). The kids and I briefly used the pool. A big thanks to owner, host,...

So my trip to Costa Rica began with me traveling to Manuel Antonio to teach English as a Foreign language. This trip then turned into one of the most amazing experiences in my entire life, which was made possible by Villas Jaquelina. I met Steve and his family the first day I landed in Costa Rica, and after living there...

I was fortunate enough to stay at Villas Jacquelina while on a week trip to Costa Rica with my friend. We stayed at the 'Palamar' or roof of the villa, which had the most amazing view. This was my first trip ever to Costa Rica and I didn't really know what I was getting myself into, but I could not...

This quirky hotel of many levels and steps is just fine. Just not exceptional. It has a view. Just not a great one. Our room was fine. Just very plain. The price is reasonable for the area. The breakfast, for six dollars was very good. Although starting at 8 was a little late for us as we are early risers....

The owner is very friendly and trying to help if you have some problem, the place looks nice and the pool can help in those hot days..everything was just fine except some insects that can go throw the window's nets and some strange rule like "no using the kitchen before 9 am" and "do not put your water an beverages...
