This was one of the best experiences of our lives. Anita showed us so many wonderful places. Paradise has a name now!!!! Definately need to go back and explore more. Usually when we travel I get to chip and paint aboard our sailboat. This time it was just pure pleasure with very good friends. I highly recommend a stay. It's...

My wife and I stayed in Manuel Antonio (MA) with Anita for 3 nights. The highlight of our stay was the Howler monkeys that came through each morning around dawn making the eerie sound you would expect from a much larger and more dangerous critter. One morning we actually got photos of them in the early dawn light. Our room...

Anita and her staff took great care of us while we stayed in the Casa Buena Vista. The hotel is secure, has an amazing view, and the A/C is a life-saver on the humid Manuel Antonio coast. :) Breakfast each morning was made to order (we loved the french toast), and most of the fruit and juices are from plants...

We stayed 2 nights at Casa Buena Vista with two of our friends. My boyfriend and I had the bedroom up the hill and the view was fabulous. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed was very confortable. We even had a fridge and a kitchen sink in the room. After more than 2 months on the road...

My friend and I stayed here with the lovely Anita for a few nights in June 2011. She was welcoming, accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. It's conveniently located (within walking distance to the main road which has plenty of restaurants) and is close to the beach as well! Breakfast every morning made our stay that much better -...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Buena Vista for six nights in the low season. We both agree that it was our favorite place we stayed in CR and we can't wait to return! The accommodations are clean and in a beautiful location. We stayed in Room #3, which was the private cabin. The cabin was rustic and had...

Three of us stayed at this B&B for two nights. The pros: -The woman who runs it and the woman who works for her are both extremely friendly and helpful -The breakfast is filling - a choice of french toast or eggs, bread, fruit, and baked goods -Compared to other B&Bs in the area it is relatively inexpensive -The views...

Don't stay here. Casa Buena Vista has only that---a good view. The owner, Anita, has 5 cats. Our room wasn't ready as we arrived a little early. Her apartment reeks of cats and it is filthy. The thought of breakfast being prepared in that, repulsed me. The maid kicked me on our way out the door, in her attempt to...

These people did not stay with us. I don’t know why they wrote such lies. My staff, cleanliness and breakfasts are the best around. I do have cats but they are not in the area of our guest rooms. My housekeeper would never kick someone (nor would any other Costa Rican). My breakfasts are so delicious that guests have had...

I'm glad we found this place. For 35 bucks a night, my girlfriend and I shared a room with a spectacular view, access to a guesthouse nestled in the monkey filled forest, and a hospitable owner who was happy to assist us with arrangements throughout our stay. It was a ten minute walk to the beach, and close to the...

Casa Buena Vista B&B is perched up the side of this beautiful mountain over looking the ocean, with amazing views, jewel colored humming birds flirt and play out side your window, extensive beautifully groomed; exotic gardens and flowers a bloom. Wake up to spider monkeys playing and chattering at you in the morning, as well as the spectacular breakfast Anita...
