We really enjoyed our stay at Pueblo Real. The hotel is smaller than most "resort" destinations, but this does not diminish it's quality. The hotel is located off the major highway so it is quiet and more connected to the community. The hotel provided a...More
We stayed here in February 2015. Before we even left home, the Manager, Elizabeth Lee, was very helpful. Upon arrival, driving down the unpaved, rocky road in the jungle, we were a bit dubious about this place. But what a surprise!!! We were very effusively...More
Great stay. The resort is a bit off the beaten path, but my god is it nice. The place is not crowded, even though it is spring break. The rooms are confortably furnished. The only complaint I have is that Tye beds are too still...More
Our 2nd trip to Costa Rica, our 1st visit to Pueblo Real. The condo accommodations & friendly staff are wonderful. We would have preferred a week touring the country as we did in the past then a week at Pueblo Real to relax. Tour &...More

When we were there we saw one or two open spots at sunrise. I believe all rooms were occupied. The resort has a security guard overnight. I agree that you could park on the road, it's a dead end street and Pablo Real is the last building before the river. Not a lot of traffic. Expect dust in the dry season. There are coconut palms by the parking lot, so be carful for falling coconuts.
