I was immediately greeted by hostess Inez who has owned and operated Villa Escazu since 1992. What a wonderful and spacious room, with an excellent view of the gardens, birds, flora and fauna. This place is simply amazing. If you want to feel right at home, you should stay here for sure. Great rates and excellent location to everywhere. Uber...

Recently visited while in the area for Dental and Business. The 1 BR apt was a great choice. Small refrigerator and coffee pot were nice to have as I fixed some breakfasts and liked having a cold beer/snack in the afternoon while relaxing in the garden with the birds and squirrels. Very nice complimentary breakfast on the first morning that...

We love to get into the culture when we travel and this property allowed us to do that. The owner, Inez, has lived here many years and has a lot of knowledge to share about Escazu (if you're interested). She was very helpful in recommending and arranging tours and taxis and in providing information about local attractions. One of the...

This was my second stay at Inez Chapman's Villa Escazu and I could not be more pleased by the peaceful tranquility of the property and the friendly manner of owner Inez. Her several acres of gardens are always fruiting and flowering. I visited many other places in Costa Rica on my stays and Villa Escazu provided me with the BEST...

I stayed at Villa Escazú during my most recent trip to Costa Rica (about a week ago) and was delighted with my experience. Inez was wonderful, offering suggestions for things to do and even making the arrangements for me after I decided which tours interested me most. Her hospitality really is unmatched! The Villa is gorgeous and the rooms are...

I went to CR to have implants done and stayed at Villa Escazu. There were a number of qualified dentists in San Jose, but I chose to have the work done in Escazu because I wanted to stay in a quiet place close by to relax and recover from the procedure , but away from the city. Villa Escazu exceeded...

I truly enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the Owner, Inez, she is everything everyone here says she is very gracious warm and welcoming. We loved our stay with Inez. She was extremely helpful in planning the rest of our trip beyond the stay in Escazu. We really enjoyed her home cooking and her service. She was kind enough to invite the other guests (who were staying in the apartments) to join us for breakfast so we could all get acquainted. She arranged all...

I stayed with Inez for dental work with Nova Dental... It was my first time in Costa Rica and it helped considerably that I had an expat from my home country to help me find my way! The place is a little oasis right outside the city. Close enough to get there quickly, but far enough to feel like you...

I was a long time resident of Costa Rica (15 years). I repatriated to Canada in 1995. Since then, I return every year to visit with friends and receive medical treatment. I have come to know Inez and she is truly one of the most reliable, trustworthy, and well travelled individuals in Costa Rica. With almost thirty years of local...
