I stay in this hotel every time I go to Costa Rica – often several times a year. It is my second home as I sometimes travel solo but never feel alone. The rooms are well decorated and clean and the ambience of the hotel, especially the main house is very welcoming and warm. You can’t complain about the rates...

I really liked this hotel. Our room was spacious and decorated really nicely. The bed was big and comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was nice and the coffee was good. It was very clean with a great hot shower and even nice toilet paper! (Maybe I've been in central america too long when it comes...

I feel bad to have to give a negative review to this hotel because we stayed there twice and first time was actually nice. We had just arrived to San Jose tired and jet lagged and the staff were friendly, the rooms were nice (great beds) and the atmosphere was cool. On leaving we thought we'll definitely stay here on...

We started our Holiday in Costa Rica in this hostel. When we arrived the hostess was friendly and showed us how and where we could find our way in the hotel. Although we arrived during the haloween night, we had no problem with the noise from the street during the night. The twinbed in our room across the street was...

Arrived 8pm after travelling all day to find our pre booked and pre paid room had been given to somebody else. Hotel arranged for an alternate hotel which was not as nice and much further away from the main centre. Avoid if you actually want the hotel to honor your reservation.

First let me apologize for the error. We work very hard to avoid these type of errors but in this case we missed some information which led you to being bumped to a different hotel. It happens to almost all busy hotels on occasion. The curious part is that we are are quite careful about who we send our guests...

Hotel was in good location, close to main attractiona and had all amenitirs needed. Room was spacious and breakfast was just ok. We didn't have any problems and enjoyed our one-night stay in the property.

The place was very nice, the room was large and comfortable. I would have loved a typical Costa Rican breakfast (rice and beans) but the continental offered with the reservation was alright. The neighborhood is nice during the day but a bit unsafe at night.

A home from home, rooms are spotless and very comfortable and small planted grotto area is a nice place to sit with a glass of wine and relax. The third floor terrace gives you a fantastic view over SanJose and the hills that surround it. From the moment I walked through the door the staff were attentive and very helpful,...

I love this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are sparkling clean. It is so convenient to everything in San Jose. I will stay here anytime that I am in town. I met a lot of interesting people in the breakfast room who were great with suggestions of things to do.
