The next day we were moved to a house fully equipped and with a small garden we were sharing with another guest in two separate doublerooms....

The hosts Fred and Christelle really make you feel welcome. The houses are basic but have everything you need. The breakfast's were a real highlight and the perfect place to meet other travellers to go on an adventure.

Really friendly and helpful owners, great breakfast, bit expensive The owners, Fred and his wife, are incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful. They can give you lots of information about the area, how to get into town, what to do/see etc etc. They serve a decent breakfast in the mornings and keep the grounds reasonably clean. As a backpacker place this...

Quiet and clean accomodation, however, be adviced; 4 bed dorm is next to the kitchen and not quiet by 12-1:00a.m. There is no wifi service, but If you are interesting for internet access, it cost hourly 10 $ and you can use your computer for it and 1 $ for 1 short local call to make from the office. When flying from the opposite side of the earth, literally in my case, to another country that is akin to a speck of dust in the deep South Pacific, there is one sure fire phrase that will make your bottom pucker up and make you wish you had astonishingly capacious undergarments and a bed in the nearest hospital cardiac unit;...

Pension Te Miti was one of the best places I stayed during my 2 + month back packing trip through French Polynesia. The 4 bed dorm may be a little cramped and the bunks a little wobbly when full but very sociable - as opposed to the somewhat loneliness felt when I stayed in their other building down the road....

We were in Tahiti briefly for waves. Fred was very helpful in filling us with information about the island and helping us get our rental car. I accidentally left some luggage behind and he had it shipped (via plane) to our next stop in Rarotonga at no cost. I am so grateful.

I spent three days and nights at this pension, using it as a base to explore Tahiti before leaving for some scuba diving at an outlying island. The scoop: Accommodations: Very adequate. I had a single room by a shared bathroom that also opened into a common area/open air kitchen. Not the most private setting in the world, but curtains...
