Just returned from our first time in the Cook Islands. We spent 5 nights in Aitutaki and 8 nights in Rarotonga. Aitutaki was excellent. Friendly people all over the Island and the best lagoon for snorkelling. Pacific Resort was outstanding great staff, food, rooms and pool. Some days we felt we had the resort to ourselves. My 12 and 10...

We stayed in one of their Villas for eight nights and that was the best hotel experience I've had EVER. The room was spacious, comfortable with an amazing view. But what really made this hotel was it's staff. When we were picked up at the airport we were given our own lounge area while they picked up our bags. Once...

This was the last leg of our honeymoon and despite water villas in Bora Bora it was definitely the jewel. The welcome that we recieved from Julian, the hotel manager was very welcoming and our room and the view from our room reduced me to tears! It was beautiful to say the least. All the staff were so kind and...

The Management and staff at the Pacific resort were the epitome of excellent client service in their industry. The location was beyond our expectations and we could not believe that the colors in promotional material were in fact 100% true - the real thing was even better. The free use of such things as reef shoes and snorkeling equipment and...

When the Aitutaki Pacific Resort announced a new afternoon tea service I thought I would give it a try. There were two choices on the menu (which by the way gives a history of afternoon tea and the proper way to stir the tea and hold the cup). One was an island trio with a spinach quiche, banana cake and...

Thank you to Julian and the wonderful staff at the pacific resort, this was our 7th stay and have now spent over 70 nights there over the last 8 years. Our two children are now teenagers and still enjoy the relaxed time we have as a family. The resort is still in the condition it was when it was new,...

My family and I have just returned from an amazing week here; sadly I fear that Pacific Resort Aitutaki has spoilt me for any other resort in the Cooks! My husband and I were last in Aitutaki 15 years ago and the sheer beauty of the lagoon and it's motus is unchanged. This time we were travelling with our two...

The experience begins as you descend to Aitutaki Airport! The lagoon is magical; dotted with small tropical islands and ringed with "talcum powder' coral sand. I have never experienced such an organised arrival! We were met on the tarmac at the small but charming Aitutaki Airport by a hotel representative who after presenting us with a beautiful lei, ushered us...

I have stayed and seen quite a few hotels in the Cook Islands and I must say, when compared to the hotels in Fiji, I was always disappointed with the service levels in the Cook Islands. But what a breathe of fresh air the Pacific Resort Aitutaki is. Finally a hotel deserved of it's 5 star status. The rooms were...

We stayed at the Pacific Resort Aitutaki in June 2012 and had the most amazing time. It is an experience not to be missed. The big point of difference between Aitutaki and Rarotonga is the the sheer beauty of the lagoon. So crystal clear, less wind & amazing snorkeling. Fish galore! The Pacific Resort Aitutaki is also a big 'step-up'...
