I stayed two nights before departing on a 2-week river trip. My room was dated but clean and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located on the old military post and an easy 10-minute walk from both the harbor and the town. It includes a good...More
Whenever I leave a hotel I think, would I stay here again. In this case I would not and here's why. No heat, no hot water for a shower, no wifi in the room, no refrigerator or coffee maker. This is a historic hotel. I...More

If I remember correctly we were picked up by Hotel staff who were waiting for us at the Ferry terminal. Seemed to be all part of the service. For the return we had a rent a car from a private firm. They were very happy for us to park the car at the ferry terminal. Very convenient. I do think the Hotel staff would have been happy to take us as well had we needed a lift. Enjoy. A beautiful spot!!!
