My husband had to go to Haines for work and I tagged along, making it a little nice getaway weekend from Anchorage. We lucked out on finding the most amazing bed and breakfast to stay at! It was a close walk to the water, trails, restaurants, farmers market, and fort ruins! Our bedroom had a view of the water and...

As we checked in we were greeted by a very nice woman Who was the owner. She showed us to our rooms gave us a good briefing of the amenities and the breakfast which was included. The building and the rooms are dated, but clean and very functional. Our bathroom was huge! It was very quiet despite being on the...

I stayed on the top floor in this small, very cool inn. As a young solo traveler on a budget, I was prepared to stay in a single with a communal bath. But, when I arrived, they upgraded me to a room with a private bath. My room was clean and had lots of windows. The hostess was incredibly accommodating....

I arrived on the fast ferry from Skagway, and was so pleased that the B&B was really close by. It's about a mile from town, so if you're not the walking type, you will need a car or bike. I loved it....the guest accommodations are on the third floor, and have stairs that go to up to your own entrance,...

Our hostess Laura was incredibly accommodating in preparing foods that were gluten free. From home made sausage to fresh muffins, pancakes and French toast. It was all safe for me to eat as well as delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property.

We arrived by ferry on Monday morning. We toured a bit & then found our way to the B & B. Laura greeted us by name & had everything ready. Laura was still getting her gift store ready for the tourist season which is next week so I wasn't able to shop. Our room was very cheerful at the front...

We arrived in Haines in the middle of the night on the ferry and we found our Sheltered Harbor. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a private bath. The breakfast was especially good. Our hostess had prepared some homemade muffins and gave us some for the road. Needless to say, they did not go to waste. The Sheltered...

We booked in for one night and left three days later. We had a large, comfortable and quiet room (#1 I think). Picture windows covering both exterior walls and a wonderful view. i would be comfortable here for a week or longer. Breakfasts were great; home made, lots of special goodies, and our hosts were great company. They also have...

We were driving the Whitehorse - Skagway - Haines - Haines Junction - Whitehorse loop and needed a stop over for a night. We had a comfortable room, the owner was pleasant and helpful... overall a good choice for a one night stop on a road trip. Nothing fancy, but clean and convenient. Nice view out the window, despite the...
