This is the real deal! A small very comfortable family run lodge with personal attention to detail. Fabulous food and the full Alaskan experience on offer. Our stay here was only three nights, giving us two full days. Too short. Black bears on the beach at Halibut cove. harbor seals and many sea otters in the bay. Puffins, bald eagles...

We stayed for a couple of nights at the end of our Kenai fishing trip and were very pleasantly surprised. The Sidelinger family run a beautiful and lovingly maintained property, with every detail seen to, in a relaxed environment with no distractions such as radio or TV. Kevin and Lucinda welcomed us to their home, and frankly it never felt...

My husband and I had an amazing visit to the Ridgewood Wilderness Lodge with the Sidelinger family late in August 2013. Halibut Cove is one of the most beautiful places on earth but it was honestly the graciousness and warmness of the Sidelinger family that left a lasting memory with us. We were greeted by Kevin and Lucinda as if...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Ridgewood this June. I can't say enough about the hospitality the Sidelingers exhibited. We booked our trip almost a year in advance and Jess never complained when I asked her tons of questions in preparation for our trip. It was nice having the water taxi arranged for us - one less...

Beautiful lodge with a pristine view. We felt right at home, the food was amazing - made fresh daily. Lodge owners were super friendly and took the time to make things extra special. It was all about the details. Every day our day was planned with adventures. Very accommodating, once in a life time experience. One of my favorite things...

Recently, I spent five nights at Alaska's Ridgewood Wilderness Lodge. A truely wonderful experience on many levels. The hosts are warm, dedicated and full of knowledge about the local natural world. The lodge itself is constructed to allow views of nature in all directions and is very comfortable. Meals are all prepared from scratch and have a gourmet quality (especially...

My husband and I recently spent 3 days at the Alaska's Ridgewood Wilderness Lodge. It was such a unique experience. It all started with a comfortable boat taxi ride over, where we were greeted by our hosts to take us up to the lodge. Our first night was spent taking a nice long walk around the island and then some...

My husband and I spent three nights at Ridgewood Lodge in the first week of September. We were the only guests that week, and the following week was to be the lodge's final week before closing for the season. The lodge was recommended by our travel agent, who's been endorsed by Travel and Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler magazines as...
