GREAT location! The rest of it is a little frightening. Our room smelled like someone had thrown up A LOT. We left all of the windows open and it didn't dissipate at all. The shag carpet scared me to death, thats a whole bunch of rug for things to hide in. The good news is there were plenty of bars...

We stayed here because we love old historic hotels and wanted somewhere both affordable and centrally located. Well, we got all of that. We stayed in a very unique room on the 3rd floor (311) - and I will say that the beds and linens were clean and comfortable, the shower hot, great views, and a kitchenette. It was hard...

We stopped here after a hike and a visit to the glacier. We were in search of Alaskan Pumpkin Porter, however we were not successful. We did stumble across a great little bar with entertaining music! The bartender was quick with a snappy comment. Fiery one, but great! Drinks were well priced and you're not shoulder to shoulder with every...

We chose this hotel because of its central location and also for what we thought was its proximity to the local ferry terminal. Fellow travellers please note, the ferry terminal has been relocated and it is now about 18 miles from town, around US$40 cab fare one way. The hotel is Heritage Listed but that is no excuse for shonky...

As mentioned in other reviews shared bathrooms, loud music and people from the pub across the street during the night, carrying your luggage to 2nd floor are definite Cons. However, outdated interior of this place creates an original experience, and our stay felt like a visit to a time capsule. For those looking for a quality; lodging in any chain...

After my flight I went here for lunch, atmosphere was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. Women may receive a bit more attention than they are used to though, my partner was hit on after I'd only walked away for a minute.

First up - this is an old building, it has character (which also means quirks and a few rough edges...It probably had an out house originally so they've had to squeeze in a bathroom for the en-suites - not conventional style, but it's in there) Second up - everything in Alaska is expensive, so at $100 a night it's just...

We didn't stay at the hotel but I can tell you we had a blast at the bar. Historic building with funky ambiance. The staff and band went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If I ever make it back to Juneau, I would love to stay at the hotel only because we had such a great...

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and after the initial culture shock, (which was basically brought on by the bad reviews I have read about the Hotel) we settled in and enjoyed our stay. The beds are clean and comfortable, we had a suite for $100 a night and it included a seperate toilet and a seperate shower room....
