Fishing itself is a non issue. Been to this resort in the past several times. The resort is very now poorly managed and a rip-off these days. I would avoid unless you don't wasting your money and are ok with snide, rude and unprofessional staff. I’d give a zero if it were an option.
"excellent" we had a blast fishing with clover pass resort, friendly staff and capt Murry had us on fish in 10 min from dock. this was a great trip, i would recommend fishing with clover pass resort and capt Murry if you want to catch some fish and have a great time. Mike Lambert
Boat problems half a trip and double charged for gas very unfriendly staff and terrible boats everything's broken on them if u took their 10 boats together u might have one that worked . When asked to repair boats they were very sneid and rude...everything that is already broken on the boat they add to your tab when u address the issue not a good time we have been here 4 times but something has changed in Management.. . ....
Spent 3 days at this fishing destination. Five to eight bald eagles share the resort grounds - as do seals and sea lions. Fishing for us was actually a little rough as on the day we fished the weather changed drastically and the fish moved. That said our guide Chris still helped us get into some Pinks and Halibut. The employees at this place HUSTLE! That said, all of them were extremely accommodating and willing to stop and answer every relative and probably stupid question - we asked - and we asked a lot of them. Every-time. The package we had included food. The food was served event style out of a line and was actually pretty dang good - including the beef, mashed potatoes, salad and salmon pasta. Cant go wrong with this place - regardless the weather!
Where does one begin. My wife and I who are from Australia have been here 3 times in the past 7 years and we are so impressed with this place that this time we bought across two of of Aussie friends. We are travelling with our large motor home and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Gina and her husband who are the RV hosts. They set the mood of warmth and friendliness and were very helpful in us securing a front spot marina berth for our RV and the view was sensational. From that moment on all the staff were brilliant. Tommy, James, Brandon and others whose names escape me, were the friendliest guys we have met. We hired a boat, we fished and were successful with our catch and to just sit outside each night in the warm sun as it was setting watching Orca's was amazing. We would come back here in a heartbeat every year but alas the distance between where we live and here is about 10,000 miles! Anyway Clover Pass is a favourite place of ours and we have travelled a lot around the world. Apart from the views, the fishing, the location, the other thing that sets this place apart is the professional and friendly attitude of the employees. Even Oscar willingly offered to fillet our fish for us. An amazing place with wonderful people running this professional outfit. Well done to all and thanks heaps for a memorable stay yet again. Regards Mike & Ruth (& our two visitors Steve & Beth) Adelaide South Australia…
