After eating dinner at Evangelo's and stopping at the Wal-Mart down the road to restock, we arrived at Big Bear RV Park. I checked in, and we found our site. This is a very well maintained family owned campground. It was clean, and all the sites were level. The shower rooms were clean and even had hair dryers. The laundry...

Our group liked the RV camp. Very clean, very organized. Sites were marked for our group as we arrived late. Showers, rest room were clean. Close to highway.Wifi was very limited. Was in between business, farm etc.... Will recommend this park.

Rv park has both pros and cons. Close to Highway so you get highway noise. Located in odd area with with mix of businesses, farm and a few private homes. Close enough to the Walmart (2 miles). Sites are decently sized and there is grass. Bathrooms have loud music playing in it, not sure why. Children's playground available. Not much...

This was the sixth RV park we stayed at on our trip through Alaska and the only one so far with lots of soft green grass (well manicured). Our dogs had a lot of room to walk and they loved being able to walk through the grass. The staff was wonderful and we were greeted warmly. Very nice showers..I particularly...

Full hookups and pull thrus available. Laundry and wifi available, but wifi is very, very limitied. No cable. Dirt and gravel driveways and campsites. Very little trees between campsites. Did hear some highway traffic, but it wasn't bad later at night. Could hear a train early in the morning. Construction off Hwy 3 at Trunk Road, so a little inconvenient...

We only stayed here for one night, but the campground was nice, clean, quiet and well maintained . We have a 40 foot 5th wheel and the site was plenty big and long for both our truck and trailer. Would stay again if we are in the area again. Would recommend to anyone!

Just bought a new camper. Want to figure out any kinds before we go too far and have issues. This camp ground was nice enough. We lucked up with out camp spot. There were only very few spots that had shade if you had a motorhome/camper. All the tents were in the shade. Wasnt near any water or an yt?...

We spent one night here on the way south and two more on our return. Arriving at supper time the first night, we were told to come and enjoy the pot-luck salmon BBQ and not to worry about bringing anything. Some had brought salads, desserts, etc. and the gentlemen that had caught the salmon were cooking it. There also was...

RV and tenting sites. Basically a parking lot, gravel. Suited well for large RV's and easy to get around and set up. We were lucky and got a spot back in the corner surround by trees. Clean laundry room. Pleasant people, fast check in. It is a nice RV park for travelers. I would return here. Not really any treat...

When we were researching our Alaskan RV Trip we needed a good central point for the Anchorage area. Big Bear RV in Wasilla looked perfect and it ended up being perfect. It is about 45 min from DT Anchorage but was within 15 to 30 minutes of the majority of the Mat-Su Valley. It is also less than 3 miles...
