Will only rate the restaurant which is what I frequent the most. Food is good though it can take a long time. Friday nights there is a small band playing. sometimes parking can be an issue but overall good experiences. For Bukavu is quite good given that there is not a lot of things to do.

I have previously stayed at Orchids which is of dizziyng luxury but really out of this world prices. Now stayed for a week at CoCo and I'd recommend it strongly. Carlos, the owner, is around and it shows as staff is quite quick and everything works. The whole place has a homely, cozy feeling to it and I really appreciated...

Co-Co lodge is an excellent place to stay in Bukavu: the staff is very friendly and hospitable, as is owner Carlos, who is a gold mine for all local information you might seek. The rooms are spotless and the very good wifi works even when there's no power. The restaurant is a pleasant place to hang out. The food is...

Lodge Coco is a wonderful place. It is a bit on the expensive side, compared to comparable places, but it has consistent electricity and occasionally good internet, a fabulous ambience, great food, and friendly staff. The color scheme, brown and yellow, is a bit weird, but that's the thing about Coco - it just feels real. It isn't an ersatz...

a nice and cosy little hotel. The rooms are spacey and clean. Carlos, the owner, is very kind and eager to help organizing trips, especially for watching gorillas in the national park. The food in the restaurant is really good, especially the pizza.

We stayed at this lodge in August 2016 with the purpose of visiting the lowland gorillas, which the staff at this lodge facilitates. The owners (the Schuler family) had been very helpful by providing information beforehand as well as helping with obtaining a visa for me at the border post, coming from Rwanda. The lodge is located in a dusty...

Co-Co lodge is a very nice and chill place. I have been there several times and the food is good and the drinks as well. On Friday nights it gets a bit busy and a bartender makes really nice drinks. The food is good enough :) But the best is the service. Really nice and friendly staff. A must go...

Visited Bukavu for a seminar and stayed at Coco Lodge. Very pleasant stay with a spacious room and very comfortable bed. Fantastic restaurant and the owner, Carlos, is extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Even going as far as staying up late in the evening to print documents for me. Definitely worth stopping over on a trip through Bukavu.

We stayed at Lodge Co-Co for one night in June 2016 as part of our trip to see the lowland gorillas in Kahuzi-Biega. The hotel was exactly what we needed after a tough day of trekking in the forest. The shower was hot and plentiful, the bed really good, the room quiet and the restaurant's food delicious. We especially liked...

This review is only for the Co-Co restaurant and not the hotel. There is a large outdoor seating area in the back garden. Be sure to pick a comfy seat as you will wait for ages for your food to arrive. However, the owner is very friendly and makes the rounds to say hello to each table, trying to keep...
