I have rated this place 5 stars simply on the amazing location alone. The view from all the bungalows and infinity pool is simply amazing. The hotel itself has the potential to be excellent but requires a series of minor tweaks to transform the experience...More
This is a highly rated hotel indeed for its location in the Highlands of northern Vietnam . The views from the infinity pool are superb on a clear day and this alone justifies the rating. The staff consists of local tribespeople for the most part...More
This is a very special place situated north of sapa town. There is scenery all around you. Nights are quiet and peaceful. My friend and I hung out by the fire and shared stories. I was so impressed by the work ethic of the girls...More
Our only regret is not staying longer. This place is amazing - admittedly made even better by stunning weather. We stayed in a suite which comes with a unique stone bath overlooking the mountains. We booked through Flamingo Travel and got a good deal on...More
We used the lodge’s service ‘Topas Mountain Express’ to get there and back to Hanoi. A great service and I highly recommend it.
I really wanted to give the lodge top marks but I can’t. The accomodation itself is amazing - our beds were comfy,...More

It will be hot. Their rainy season is ending now and it will get hotter. All rooms has aircon so you are fine there. When hiking remember to bring an umbrella for the shade. The hotel has one so you can use theirs. But you will be sweating a lot. There is a fantastic pool at the lodge where you can spent the afternoons recovering after your walk. If you visit fansipan (mountain) you can have a cooler experience as it is so high up. Have fun it's an amazing place. Book a guide for a hike. We used a guide called Chong which was amazing. You might want a more remote walk as the red daoh women outside the lodge will follow you around which can be annoying. We did a walk to nam Chang where you walk for yourself in the rice fields which is epic. Planing your time is important as the lodge is remote.
