Walked in to see about a room. We were given the keys to have a look whether we wanted it or not. When looking around it was clearly dark, dingy and dirty. Very minimalistic with very little in each room. We didn't come back after we saw it

we stayed because we couldnt get anywhere else. this motel has huge potential if it just upped its game a bit, everything needs a deep clean. bedding was clean, sink was clean, but utensil drawer was grubby, shower was in need of some serious cleaning, not your normal washing off the soap scum and hair type cleaning, in that respect...

My friend and I spent 5 nights here, because other places were booked out, being Waitangi weekend and we needed a room with twin beds, and walking distance to shops etc as we had no car. Well!!! what an experience, we had to ask for clean towels, the mould on the soap holder was thick, the curtains in the toilet...

For the record I did not stay here.. Just want to share my booking experience. Shelly at the front office comes across a very friendly and polite person. And Scott who i spoke to had no remorse of what had happened... So i just want to express my disappointment. I made an inquiry about staying there for 2 nights. Shelly...

Stayed here on Saturday 30/01/2016. Easy to find. Close to shops. But run down. Gardens need attention, concrete broken on driveway, loose boards on gazebo at rear of rooms. The rooms are very basic and of concrete block construction. The rooms are also noisy and you can hear everything that happens in the adjoining rooms. The carpet was threadbare, the...

The worst 'motel' we have ever stayed in. So bad we are going to complain to the Council about it. This grotty hole is substandard and I get the feeling the owners are asking people they know to write about how good it is. Shabby dirty rooms, broken equipment and hairs everywhere. Was like the Bates Motel only worse. Stay...

Checked the feedback online before, feedback shows not really good. But we stayed there last night because we arrived late and all other motels were full. Lucky, we found the motel is different as the feedback. The staff told us that the business was sold since June and the new owner did a big change on it. Very nice place...
