Great location, great sleep. Was easy to find and once settled in was an easy stroll to th shops. We had ground floor unit with no view but an easy walk across to the park and water. Was worried about road noise but was very quiet.

We stayed here during my sisters wedding. It was super easy to find and all the correspondence from Carol and Noel prior to arrival made things really easy. Also, we could not have received a warmer welcome or better service! We had two suites booked over different days - a 2 bedroom and a studio. The two bedroom was spacious...

We chose the Bay Viaduct Motor Lodge after doing research of places to stay in the area. It was the perfect stopping point after a flight in from Christchurch and on our way to Mt Cook. The Room had sea views. It was beautifully presented and extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were lovely people and recommend...

We had the pleasure of staying in this Motor Lodge last night and cant speak highly enough about it, The staff were very helpful and the units were first class, We stayed as a large group so the sound proof units were excellent. They were spotlessly clean and very roomy. We would recommend this place to anyone Million dollar views...

We stayed here in the weekend, very neat place to stay, handy to everything as it is close to the shops and cafes and right beside the beach, very accommodating and lovely people, highly recommend to stay here.

We stayed two nights in early January and really enjoyed it. The management upgraded us to a two bedroom on the ground floor, which was much appreciated. The only thing we lost was a sea view! The unit was long and narrow with spacious rooms and a spa bath in the bathroom. Lovely! Everything was very clean and well organised....

Checked into the Bay Viaduct Motor Lodge for an overnight stay. Easy to find - right on SH1 and ideal location offering great views of Caroline Bay. Modern and very comfortable apartment. Clean and well appointed with kingsize bed, spa bath and good kitchen facilities. Also just a 6min walk to a range of eateries. Very welcoming hosts.

This is a very impressive motel. The room was spacious, very clean and the view was great. Car parking was good. The hosts were very pleasant and I appreciated the man taking my suitcase up to the room. It is situated just across the road from Caroline Bay and is also within easy walking distance to several restaurants. We really...

This place is on your right about 150 metres up a side road just as you come into the CBD from the south. It is visible from the main road and has plenty of off street parking. Units are a good size, some are on level 2 and look like they have a good view of the bay. Beds are...

Great service, excellent rooms (cozy and peaceful). Handy location to all restaurants and shopping, great view of the water front and all within a short walk (literally 5 minutes). What I liked the most was the owners we're very hospitable and made you feel at home. The rooms are very spacious with a balcony or outdoor area to cool off...

Experience the ultimate - spectacular views, superior luxury accommodation, quiet double glazed units, kiosk at reception, liquor license - mini bar. The spectacular view that greets you when you walk into each unit, sets Timaru's Bay Viaduct Motor Lodge apart from the rest. Bay Viaduct captures the catch phrase for its luxury accommodation: "Location, Location, Location." The Motel and Motor Lodge boasts spectacular views overlooking Caroline Bay and has the ideal location just a couple of minutes walk from Caroline Bay, Timaru's cafes, bars, restaurants and central business area. Situated in a prime position on the main highway at the base of Wai-iti Road (always known as the Bay Viaduct corner before the motorway). Bay Viaduct is easy to find for the visiting guest and locals alike. All of our motels units are doubled glazed, so the great view and prime location are not tainted by road noise. Additionally each unit has its own patio where guests can sit in the summer sun, take in the spectacular views and admire Timaru at its best (all units are non-smoking but if you wish guests may smoke out on the patio).
