Room was clean & tidy with basic kitchen facilities. The drive down into the motel was a bit steep but once parked outside room access was ok. Staff were very helpful with all relevant knowledge about the area. Had all the requirements of 3 star motel.

We received a very friendly welcome at this motel located right near the heart of Timaru. Our room was clean and had all the facilities we required for our 3 day stay. With the rate we paid for 3 of us, we could not and do not complain. We would stay here should we require accommodation in Timaru

Lovely friendly staff, great service, great pricing for what you got. Rooms, bathrooms etc all were bright and clean. Could do with a bit of paint here and there though. Great place to stay I recommend to anyone staying in timaru.

Travelling through South Island at peak tourist season and World Cup Cricket time without booking accommodations more than 24 hours ahead was almost like playing Russian Roulette. The Townhouse at Timaru was the first place we and i-Site could find between Queenstown and the east coast. Everything around Tekapo, Twizel, and places west of Christchurch was fully booked, were we... More

We stayed one night in the King Room with spa on our first night on the South Island. The room was comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet too. The place is a little dated. The spa worked well and all was lovely and clean. Good value for the price.

Lovely little motel with on site parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. No complaints at all about the room or facilities. Heater was amazing. Didn't use the kitchen as we were only there one night but would definitely stay again if staying longer. Hot breakfast was delicious and a good, large portion for only $15. Plenty of towels and pillows

Since we discovered that warm rooms can be hard to come by in certain areas of New Zealand in the winter time, it was so exciting to have a warm room in which we didn't have to wear just as many layers of clothes inside as we wore outside. The location is so perfect if you enjoy walking around. The... More

A need to visit Timaru to visit ailing family. This motel is very convenient to all amenities, comfortable, quiet despite being on the main thoroughfare and totally affordable. My studio had been refurbished with a very very comfortable bed. I arrived on a cold frosty night and the hosts had the heater cranked up so I walked in to a... More

I stayed in a studio unit. The room was very spacious with a nice bathroom and kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. The fridge and microwave were very adequate, in fact everything was of a high order. The host was extremely friendly, a real touch of southern hospitality. The host even helped me... More
