Planned a short weekend trip to Talkeetna in hopes of a great northern lights show. I am very happy I chose this place! We stayed in the Hilltop which was very clean and cozy. The fire pit out back overlooked the lake and was private. Didn't get a light show but the moon was amazing. I will definitely be returning.

This year was the second time we stayed here, and without a doubt, we will stay here every time we come to visit Alaska. The cabins are exactly what we want "the iconic Alaskan cabin in the woods". They are nice beautiful cabins on a lake where we watched beavers and loons swim back and forth. However, our added bonus...

We stayed in the Hilltop cabin. The owners were attentive, and handled our visit professionally and courteously. We'll kept up with basic amenities. The provided coffee is great by the way. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the local wildlife and the provided charcoal grill. The only negative seemed to be the occasional odor on the deck overlooking the lake...

A nice little cabin in the woods. Stayed in Bird Cove. Yes, it is small, but was all that my husband and I needed. Bed is in the loft, and it is a very steep set of stairs to access. Was not a problem for us. The setting is on a beautiful pond. We listened to the loons and watched...

My husband and friend rented the Beaver Point cabin for a couple days while checking out Talkeetna. The cabin itself had everything you needed to cook with, shower, and just all around epic view's. We were just steps from the water which made for amazing views but also enjoyable SUPing (stand-up paddling). It is away from the hustle and crowds...

The Hillside cabin was perfect for us. Two queen beds with lots of space all around them, two very comfortable chairs with ottomans, and large window and a glass door to view the scenery. There is a lake complete with loons, and other waterfowl. We also found a tree near the water embedded with moose hair. Wish we could have...

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Enough towels, pots, pans, etc. Great beds. Lake with a boat to use. Beautiful setting. Had a full kitchen and bathroom. Close to town but still far enough from town to be quite and remote.

Stayed in the Hilltop cabin. It has 2 queen beds, a kitchenette, dining table and bathroom with shower. The cabin sits on a hill above the lake. There is a small deck and fire pit looking over the lake just outside the back door. Cabin was very clean, the kitchen is stocked with plates, pans, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster....

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, these cabin rentals are what you are looking for! My husband and I really enjoyed every aspect of our stay here, and look forward to coming back next year. The cabin was so clean, it looked brand new! We had plenty of room and enjoyed drinking our...

“There are three cabins - the first is Hilltop, you'll see it immediately as it's in the parking lot and shares a wall with the office. Bird Cove, cute little cabin for two mid-way down the path. Last but not least, Beaver Point - the largest and in my opinion, cutest of the cabins, sits at the end of a gravel path and is closest to the lake.”
