I spent 3 nights at Sunset Hill Lodge and loved it. Gerard is a very nice and excellent host. He has created a tranquil and fantastic place to stay on Bora Bora at a great price. You don't have to break the bank to visit Bora Bora. He had a bike I used to ride around the island and recommended...

We stayed 3 days and 4 nights (in Garden Bungalow #1) and thanks to Gerard who is a friendly and tireless host we made the most of our time; day one biked around the island on Gerard's bikes, this inlcuded a 2 hour hike to a nice viewpoint; day 2 took a lagoon tour around the island that Gerard set...

Ia Orana, Living and working in Tahiti I decided to spend a few days vacation in Bora Bora and it was just amazing. Gerard the owner of the lodge was super friendly and picked me right away up at the ferry dock. He offered as well a huge range of free activities as kayaking, diving and bikes for an island...

We had the best time ever at Sunset Hill Lodge and Bora Bora is the most amazing destination. We loved our little chalet on stilts, charmingly decorated in island colours with a great view out over the harbour. The air-con was quiet and neither too cold nor too hot, the kitchen well-stocked, the balcony perfect for breakfast and dinner. We...

I had a wonderful five day stay in Bora Bora with Gerard. He was incredibly helpful (and not in the least bit intrusive) regarding things to do during my time- a visit to a turtle sanctuary (also included a day pass to a large resort hotel), dropped and picked me up at the beach, biked around the island, a day...

Sunset Hill Lodge is the best value in Bora Bora if you are on a budget travel. It is located in Vaitape village( not along the Matira Beach), but it is just 5 min's walk to the supermarket and not far away to all other attractions if you drive a car or just ride a bike. I stayed in Bungalow...

Sunset Hill Lodge stands out from any other hotel, pension or accomodation in Bora Bora by providing great value for money, with a genuine smile. The bungalow was really a small house, with a fully equiped kitchen, microwave, gas range and oven and large fridge. 2 queen size bed with view on the lagoon from the one above. Very conveniently...

Thanks Gerard. Being in this accomodation was the best choice to come to Bora Bora. Situated in Vaitape a bit uphill from the main road, aprox. 1 km away from the port and downtown. We stayed in the stilts bungalow, where you can enjoy an incredible view of both, mountain and lagoon. We had breakfast every morning in the terrace,...

First, the place was an outstanding value, particularly for Bora Bora. You have a full kitchen with frig, porch, private bath, even little amenities like soap and a towel which most places in this price range don't provide. Second, it's a lovely peaceful setting, with gardens and a babbling brook running through it. Last but not least, Gerard was an...

very good location in Vaitape, close to shops and restaurants. Gerard, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, organizing all the tours and trips for you. He took us to the beach on the first day where we spent several hours swimming and relaxing. Our apartment was nice with all the facilities. Lovely to have hot water...
