I read all the reviews before my stay at Pearl Resort........best not to! Always best to experience then form ones own opinion. I need to break it down to give it more detail so here goes: Accommodation: We booked Villa 33 the only one with private pool. It was gorgeous, in a private part of the Island, fully air conditoned...

My on-the-beach bungalow was great. The sunset from the deck excellent. The tiny hot pot, insufficient as was the coffee & supplies. The outside (garden) bathroom was unique, but be careful on the stone steps. The bed was great also. Good space to wander, beach comb, snorkel, dive, fish, etc. Being the only resort on this islet, you eat in...

This was my first time visiting the island and boy am I glad that I did! Tikehau by itself is a very beautiful and quiet island. It is definitely not for everyone as there is no nightlife and it can be "dead quiet" after 9 pm. However, if you want to find a place with a few people, away from...

We enioyed our stay here. It is definitely a place to go to unplug as it is off the beaten path with limited connection to the outside world. Your are really in the middle of the ocean with all of the beauty (and isolation) that comes with that! Surreal starscapes! Breathtakingly beautiful sunsets. A color pallete of tropical fish! And...

Lovely place especially if you are into snorkelling - we were in an overwater bungalow and you can see small black tip sharks swimming about. I will agree with some previous reviewers - this hotel is located within a secluded paradise and is an absolutely amazing location for snorkelling , seeing different types of fish and marine life including sharks...

Dear MRagerChoi Thank you very much for posting a review. We are happy to read that you enjoyed staying with us. Indeed the snorkelling is amazing here. Indeed there is only 1 restaurant and 1 bar in the hotel (as mentionned on the hotel factsheet), which is a hotel in the middle of the Pacific, quite (very) far from everything,...

The only problem was that we needed to leave! Food was yummy. Snorkeling was great - many fish! Dive shop was also great. We enjoyed feeding the fish from our room. Full day tour to bird island with picnic lunch was wonderful. We stayed 5 nights, but it wasn't enough! We plan to visit again! The staff also were attentive...

It's difficult to describe the amazing sensation it was to arrive at this island / atoll / hotel. Breathtaking scenery, the greatest green-transparent lagoon water color, beautiful hotel room and site all around the premisses and the most incredible room view ever. Lots of multi-colored fish, sharks and rays right down the bungalow. Very friendly and helpful reception / help...

If you are looking for a crystal clear water, a remote island and unspoiled marine life, this is the perfect place to be! The snorkeling experience under the Overwater Bungalow is amazing (compared to Hilton Moorea, St. Regis Bora-Bora, and Sheraton Maldives)! You will see hundreds to thousands of fishes under the Overwater Bungalow. The water is not too deep...

First and foremost. This is a stunning location. Tikehau ranks as one of the most breathtaking places I have ever been to. It is remote, unspoiled and teeming with wildlife, particularly under the surface of the azure blue water. If you enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving then I heartily recommend adding Tikehau to your list of destinations. Secondly, the people....
