So let me begin by stating that there really are NO OPTIONS in Trapper Creek. With that being said it was OK. If you have a choice and it is an option stay in Talkeetna. Everything else was booked here and Talkeetna the weekend we were in town. It was odd that you check-in inside the convenience store. We checked...

Campsites are off the highway, and the pull thru's can accommodate a large RV with a tow vehicle. A friendly camp host named LeRoy, helped us get situated in our site and answered our questions. He is available at the campground and helps keep the place clean and keep picnickers out of the pavilion. Instead of individual campsite tables, there...

We stayed her just for a couple of nights. It has a nice, campground feel to it. The owners greeted us when we arrived because the campground host was ill. They were very friendly and accommodating. We have a 40ft fifth wheel and had a pull thru site with full hookups. Great place to stay a few nights!

Nice, unique set-up. No fire pits at each site, but sites are designed around a center pavilion with grills and a big covered cook area which encourages you to get to know your fellow campers. This was billed on a "find-a-campground" site as the best RV park in the area and only 3.5 miles from Talkeetna. HOWEVER, while it is...

Stayed here in a 35 ft motorhome pulling a jeep with 3 medium sized dogs. This is a small park with only 36 spaces so some back ins are tight. Sites had full hookup. Overall it's was a very nice place. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Only thing was management needs to remind people to keep their pets...

Trapper Creek Inn and RV is a great little stop. The RV pull through sites are nestled in the trees for a camping feel. The trees also help create a little dark for the midnight sun. There is a ramada with a community fire pit for nights you feel like a fire. The camp host is really nice, and he...

We stayed here in a 31' Class C. Sites were fairly level with a nice screen of bushes between neighbors. You pay to shower but it's worth it - the shower rooms were some of the cleanest and nicest we experienced on our 25 day trip! Didn't do laundry but that looked clean, too. My son and I had a...

I stayed at the RV Park in June and experienced very nice and helpful hosts. My daugther and I were provided with many helpful information, maps and tips where to walk and swim. As we forgot to buy some milk for the coffee, the Lady helped as with a jar free of charge. But unforgotten were so many interesting talks...

I may be giving this hotel a higher rating than it deserves. We were in the middle of our driving trip in Alaska and this room allowed us much more space than any of our previous hotels, so we were just so happy for that! Rooms included a living room with a futon (didn't use it - don't know how...

This was an easy place to find and a quiet place to stay. The sites were gravel, level, pull through but tight. All the facilities were only open during store hours so be aware of that if you need showers. This was a late night stop and an early morning departure for us. The park looked clean and it was...
