Worn out and poorly kept hotel, broken bedside light and a couple of switches, unusable free wifi, except close to the reception. Bathroom and bed linen were clean, though. Its only two positive points are that it's very close to the ferry pier, and that the included continental breakfast is quite varied and relatively abundant (for an european, that is...

Good place to stay. Good breakfast area and good food choices. Only complaint was the room was very small with no amenities. Would have enjoyed a coffee pot or microwave in the room as the breakfast area closed mid day. We fished all day, so this would have been welcome. The staff was accommodating with our plans

Accessible to the downtown area, within short walking distance of the eating and drinking places and to the excursion and fishing boat harbor. Rooms are small but clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent. Room prices are very reasonable considering the location. Rustic.

We had a very pleasant stay there, the breakfast was alright. We came late one morning and the owner extend the breakfast time for us. It's not an industry and people are like a little family. The price was appropriate for what we got ! It's close to everything in town (it's a small town so every hotel presents that...

This was a great hotel that supplied is with a bedroom and it was very clean and near all local attractions. Everything was walkable and great restaurants near. The host told us about their place and gave us pointers as to where to go and also where to eat. The harbor was nearby so we also strolled along the docks...

This is not a real B&B. Breakfast is self serve continental style. The building is very run-down and rooms are small and poorly kept. I had a first floor room that stayed at 80 degrees day and night. Outside temps were in the 60 degree range. I spoke to the owner/manager who told me to open a window. I told...

Valdez, it was the longest drive we've done on this trip. After a night stay in Palmer it took us here the next day. We have a very scenic drive on richardson highway all the way down to Valdez. The Thompson Pass was very amazing on this trip. You will have to stopped on the way many times. Another port...

Arrived late and most of the hotels were booked so we ended up taking a room at the Downtown B&B for the night. Very old and outdated. Rooms small and MUCH need of renovation. Beds creaked and growned when you turned over. Hole in bathroom wall. And to make matters worse we were told that there was TV and we...

This place is run by a couple. The wife was fantastic. She picked me up from the airport and helped me out a lot - above and beyond the call of duty when there were problems with my follow on transport. The husband made fun of my name and gave me a room key with vague instructions to the room....

Pros: Glen and rest of staff went out of their way to see we had all we needed... Room was clean, bathroom tub/shower,towels had 5 star softness and had comfortable queen bed..with nice bedding. Breakfast was a good Alaskan style assortment..cereal,pasteries,bagels,yogurt,hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, juices, coffee, fresh fruit and ample seating..Oops flat screen TV with cable too. Cons: yes it's...
