I have done my share of travel and cheap hotels across the USA but I have never felt unsafe. Sadly as the cost was great and the amenities would also have possible been ok, this hotel was a dive ..If you are in a group and aren't traveling of a night, this may be ok

I will first say that the best thing going for this place is the nice lady who has maintained this establishment for what I believe she said was over 3 decades. She was so friendly and so genuine and honest. She was primarily the reason why I wanted to stay here. The area was nice. The rooms were nice too....

This is fairly Plain Jane, but if you're like us, and like to support the non-chain motels, this is a nice, quiet, comfy place to rest your head. Smaller beds, (nice and firm) but owner was very upfront with us from the start. Very sweet and welcoming owner/operator manning the desk, and she was very helpful with info on local...

We had a one night stay here. The. Lady that owns it is charming and lovely. The motel is fabulous, it's just like stepping back in time, and we loved every minute of our stay. In a world filled with chain hotels and motels I implore you to break free and support these little independent operators.

I'm from this area, have lived here for many years. I recently moved to Phoenix which is where I am originally from. I came up to visit family and I have passed this motel thousands of times. I decided to book a stay here. I read all the other reviews and they are quite right, except for the terrible review....

I thought my wife and I could share and old timey "Motor Ct." experience.. Unfortunately the experience was bad. Too many problems to list here.. No outlet in the Bath.. no Hair dryer.. They did have free WiFi ").. However.. Let me just say .. La Cucarachas!

I've just returned from a holiday in southern Arizona. The Sahara Motel is a unique find wherein I was lucky to receive lodging for one night. Full bookings meant I had to move elsewhere but it was worth it. A wooden screen door let in the evening breeze and pleasant sounds. Microwave, mini-fridge, outstanding shower, comfy bed, big screen tv...

The Sahara Motel is a very pleasant "home away from home" on the outskirts of Benson. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Owner, a wonderfully pleasant elderly lady who has an ability to make all of her guests feel right at home. Although the Sahara is an older motel, the rooms are surprisingly large with tons of amenities. Many...

We ran into this tiny little motel in a late evening, the elderly lady who runs the motel is ever so friendly and helpful. The room is surprisingly old fashioned yet pleasant, clean & comfortable. When I found out that there wasn't a hairdyer in the room, the elderly lady lent me her own hairdryer with no hesitation. There is...

We stayed here after spending the day in Tombstone and Bisbee. It's just south of Benson and made a nice change from the chain hotels. We had a big room with a kitchen ($50) so drove to the Safeway for food instead of trying to find a restaurant in Benson in the dark. The room was clean, the shower wasn't...
