Recently we stayed at the Gadsden Hotel with friends will visiting the area. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, Tiffany glass murals above the marble staircase, stunning. We were greeted by the owners who purchased the hotel in December and are renovating rooms and common areas. Our rooms were fine, some features were dated but after all it is a...

We spent two nights at the Gadsden. We had a terrific time. The Lopezes are a lovely young couple; and we are planning on trips in the future to watch the progress on their restoration of this historic hotel. We had lovely meals at the Casa Segovia, the lovely restaurant just off the lobby. Listened to music out on the...

We stayed in one of the king bed rooms. Very nice and comfortable. The history here is amazing. The new owners are doing a great job. So glad we decided to go there. It was St. Patrick's Day. Had fun in the bar. Ate dinner in the dining room. All good!!

We stepped back in time by entering the stunningly beautiful lobby, feeling like we had discovered a genuine treasure! We were greeted by the charming new owner, and we felt at home immediately. We had our 4 year old Alaskan Malamute, Aspen, with us, and the owner and staff couldn't have been more attentive to her. We walked up a...

This historic National Treasure has only recently been saved from extinction by it's new owners. While the new owners meticulously return this landmark to it's original glory, you can support them by enjoying their bar, restaurant, or even staying overnight. You won't be disappointed.

Can't address the hotel rooms? But we ate in the dining room and it was very nice. We spoke with the new owner and she seems to be on the right path to bring the hotel back to its grandeur. Would like to go back there and eat again sometime and see the progress they have made in restoring the...

This place got a story to tell, build around 1800 and still have heritage structure maintained. I tried only the restaurant. I ordered Enchiladas and those were good. Tortillas on the house with extra spicy sauce. Staff there is accommodating and friendly.

Although I did not stay over night, I wanted to take in the history and splendor of this historic place. We met the new owners and poked around to see what we could without disturbing any guests. What a grand lobby! It is easy to imagine this place "back in the day"... If you go expecting an upscaled version an...

This is a great place to stay and the new owners are so friendly and helpful. We did not have any trouble but I am sure they would fix any problem immediately. The rooms have recently been upgraded and the prices are much lower than the Best Western down the street. I would definitely stay with them!

Even the Hotel was recommended by the local tourist office, it should be avoided. Unfriendly staff. The Wifi did not work at all. The looking, especially the lobby in an old western style, is the only pleasant in this Hotel.
