If your looking for a Hilton this place ain't for you, but if you have a taste for history and vintage.. This place is amazing! Awesome history, amazing vintage and def a taste of old school feel! Employees were especially nice even though we were only there to view The Gasden! James, a front desk employee, was nice enough to...

Our stay at the Gadsden was our second in 15 years. It's a grand hotel built in 1907. The lobby is beautiful with a sweeping marble staircase as the centerpiece. Being on the National Historic Register helped make up for the sparse room, broken blinds, and so-so food in their restaurant. It was however, very reasonably priced.

I recently stayed at the Gadsden while on a business trip due to all rooms being booked up at the Best Western down the road. It was also recommended by a colleague who had stayed there in the past. Based on the pictures of the room he had compared to the one I stayed in, he must have had one...

We were here visiting family and decided to stay.when we called we were asked if we wanted a historic room or renovated we said renovated. The desk clerk acted like he was the leader of the tower of terror in California Adventure... should have been our first indication.. the room had fresh paint and a new bed which was really...

We were sightseeing in the area and decided to spend the night in the lovely, old hotel. The lobby is amazing-beautiful pillars and a marble staircase. The historical write up about the chipped step is a nice touch. Our room was spacious and clean-comfortable bed and crisp linens. The main issue was lack of warm water when showering, making for...

What I found on checking into the room One outlet for electric , and that is the best I can say about this stay, Customer service doesn't exist. the room is beyond gross...

I should have known better! The moment I entered the once glorious lobby and saw a bucket and a dirty rag right in front of the Reception Desk, collecting water dripping from the high Ceiling, I should have turned around and walked out. But I was in a hurry to see the John Slaughter Ranch (separate review of that disaster)....

We've been here since December 29th and plan to be here until the end of February. What history!!!! Everyday when I walk down from our room to the lobby area I stop and look below me from the 2nd floor balcony to the main lobby. Wow!!! We're staying in one of their 3 rooms apartments and has everything we need...

We enjoyed our experience at the Gadsden. We opted for one of the refinished rooms and it was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. As you would expect in an older hotel the rooms are a bit small, but for one or two nights it works. We had breakfast in the dining room and was excellent!!!!

This review is for the restaurant. We had a great time! Excellent service, delicious food, very reasonable prices. A party of five had drinks, appetizers and entrees for $85. They feature Sonoran cuisine and American. Tip: order a few plates of the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. They aren't breaded either. You'll be so happy! After you are finished eating, ask for...
