We have never stayed at the inn itself but we make a point of stopping at Jacob Lake whenever we are in the area for two reasons - First - Their cookies are the best we know!! My personal favourites are the Ginger Crisp ones (divine) but they are all incredible. We end up carrying a hefty bag with a...

We could not book on room at the North Rim so we stayed in nearby Jacob Lake. Our room was old with a small shower but bed was comfortable and heater worked fine. We had a delicious dinner and a wonderful breakfast, and spent several hours look at their extensive collection of southwest Indian art, weavings, etc. The owner did...

I stopped in here for gas, a snack and some souvenirs after visiting the North Rim. Super friendly staff, good food and clean bathroom. They had a nice shop with a lot of work by local artists (& had details about them). I appreciated the variety of price points, so many places try to rip you off. At the gas...

We took a road trip over the summer to visit several National Parks. We stopped at the Jacob Lake Inn for lunch on our way to the north Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the dining room with Native American rugs and art covering the walls. There were six of us and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the...

Lovely looking place, very inviting. Its an assortment of bakery and native american shop, plus hotel. Room nice and clean, no-in room coffee or microwave, so even though we had our own coffee no means of making it, being from uk we were up at 4am and the first coffee we could get was at 6.30am. We had dinner in...

We were there is mid- September, a spectacular time to be in the area. The Inn has old parts and new. We were in the old part, which is charming. Old pine walls, furniture and trim in the rooms, very nice sized rooms. The bathroom was a little funky, with a flash water heater taking up a lot of space,...

It was just after sunrise and I was on my way back from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Watching the sunrise at the North Rim can make a man hungry so breakfast was in my foreseeable future. I arrived at the Jacob Lake Inn restaurant a little after 7...it was crowded. The menu is basic and simple. The...

We went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon the last week of October for a short 4 day stay after being in Las Vegas for work. Although the Inn is no Vegas strip resort, the simple charm, well maintained cabins and grounds made our stay here more enjoyable than in Vegas. All of the staff was great, answers...
