We happened to go to Jerome without any reservations...on Halloween Saturday. I called at 5:00 and they had a room. He said they normally have a 4 year wait! I thought he was joking, but when we arrived we started talking with someone who actually had made their reservation 4 years ago! I don't want to deal with ghosts, but... More

Really a lovely hotel that the owners have taken great time and care restoring. The elevator and great Art Deco hints are very interesting. The ghosts left us alone. Make sure you know when everything closes and eat before it all (and I mean the whole town) shuts down for the evening. Also come prepared as there are few TV... More

This was a mining town. The hotel building was the hospital. It is said to be haunted. It had and old style elevator. Your room key operates the elevator with a closing grate door. The room was on the small size but what you would expect. It was comfortable. There was coffee, pastries and cereal for breakfast. But you want... More

You got a very unique sense sitting high on top of the town, what it must of been in its heyday. The chicken stack salad was excellent, filling, service was good, friendly, and quick. The inside was unique and great views if seated near the window. There is a gift shop at the main entrance,we also saw the Rolls Royce... More

Historic old hospital converted to a hotel.. lots of ghost stories and a great ghost tour of the building conducted by staff which included ghost hunting equipment provided by the hotel. We personally experienced some unexplainable phenomenon during our stay! We will be back! Located in the mountains near the Verde valley in a genuine ghost town from the Wild... More

My wife and I are not ghost hunters by any means. We are very conservative but have been to many "haunted" hotels for the novelty. This was our 23rd anniversary getaway. This hotel is the real deal (in all ways). Booking a room was extremely simple, I made a phone call and Eric took care of the details and answered... More

We didn't know the hotel was "haunted" until we were checking in and reading the accounts that prior customers wrote up in the log. What fun!!! From the old fashioned elevator to the historic decor, this place is a true treasure. We got 2 queen beds in the very large former X-ray room, and were pleased with how spacious it... More

Great hotel with a spooky history! Slept very well! It appears that the hotel rooms have been upgraded since my last trip to Jerome some 8 years ago. Eric at the front desk was very knowledgeable and friendly! Great hotel!

The Grand Jerome hotel is one of unique hotels in western continental America. The hotel has been preserved with all the authenticity of a classic. Four floors offer different experiences and some people say the experience 'weird' sensations. Hmm. The staff from check in to restaurant were extraordinary, friendly and knowledgable. In the Asylum restaurant Dan provided just the right... More

I have a hard time writing a bad review simply because I always try to find the positives with almost every place we stay. So I rated this a 3 star and just couldn't find it in myself to rate it a 4 start. First and foremost Jerome itself definitely lived up to its reputation of being a "spooky" place.... More
