Fran and Brendan have that special Irish charm that makes you feel at home right away. We enjoyed relaxing in our comfortable and spacious room surrounded by a colourful garden and view of the ocean. The amazing breakfast was a highlight of our stay. The variety of tasty dishes to choose from reflects a commitment to catering for the diverse...

The owner is passionate and a delight to interact with. Lovely clean well furnished room away from the main house, though a bit small for my liking, but adequate. Magnificent pool area, huge pool. Lovely distant sea views. breakfasts were an occasion. Would definitely recommend Blarney House and will stay there again when my travels take me back to East...

I have been booking Blarney House for business trips to East London for a number of years. The friendly owners, comfortable beds, luxury duvets and quiet secure environment is ideal for our staff to relax after a long day of teaching. The breakfasts cooked and served by Fran & Brendan are of outstanding quality. We will continue returning to this...

Everything about this BnB is lovely. I have been traveling to EL for the past 4 years and every time I travel I stay st the Blarney House. From the warm welcoming from Brendon to the large sized and comfortable rooms it's hard not to relax and wind down after a long day. In the morning Fran does a wonder...

I am a regular visitor to EL and was delighted to find this guest house. It was like a home from home. Lovely room with a fabulous view. Great selection for breakfast and the hosts were very welcoming and gave me lots of tips and advice. The breakfasts were great. I will be back.

We book and payed this for B&B a month in advanced with the booking confirmations. On arrival the reception lady had no reference for our booking, was unable to answer any question posed to her in order to resolve the issue. If you wish to feel like a used door mat this is the place for you. After contacting the...

Sincere apologies to Mr and Mrs Lees-Smith for their most unfortunate experience on their arrival at Blarney House recently. Our rare and unavoidable absence was due to our attendance at our son's wedding overseas. As an owner managed guest house and experienced hosts of 20+ years, we strive to ensure our expected guests are warmly welcomed. Our trusted and capable...

I have travelled around quite a bit and this is one of the best guesthouses that I have ever stayed in. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights and, although it was two of East London's coldest days, Brendan's warm charm made our stay very enjoyable (unfortunately Fran was away that weekend). The bed was one of the most comfortable...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at this great B&B in a peaceful location while touring the east coast. The hosts Brendan and Fran greeted us with a warm welcome. The rooms have direct access to the very well maintained grounds and we had full use of the pool area which was very welcome after our long drive....

The hubby and I were traveling from Cape Town to the Kruger over the course of a month, so stayed in many a guest house on the way. East London was our break from Knysna to Durban. The welcome we received from Brendon and Fran was wonderful. A good chat and a glass of wine was very much appreciated, after...
