This hostel is just great, the location is really amazing and the host is very friendly and open to provide you with all the information you'd need. I stayed in a private room and it was nice and well furnished. Recommended!

Really beautiful location, and very nice people! The road is a bit bumpy to reach the backpackers, but when you see the view from the place, it is definitely worth it! Really nice breakfast and dinners option.

Being five kilometers from the center of town and the beach is OK if you can run or walk there, but the management discouraged it for safety and security reasons. Without bike rentals offered, you're left taking the hostel shuttle, which is OK if you have people to split the price. Otherwise a fine place, but the Garden Route pales...

Beautiful place and People. They make you feel at home and the stunning views at sunset are WOW! They light up the Fire and BBQ every night and you can bring your own Meat and Martin will Cook it for you. Great service!

The vibe in this place is great, with exceptional service. I would have to say its one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Wait til you see the view and you will know what I mean. The Staff really know the area and can give you all the local knowledge you need without trying to sell you something. A...

The best place for relaxing and enyoing the wildlife. Magnus ist very friendly and take care of all your wishes. Also the meals were delicious. The rooms are clean and very exclusive. Your day starts with a relaxed breakfast and ends with the sounds of wildlife in best location. We definitely would stay there again!

If you're going by buzbus do not choose this place as it's 'far' out from the city center (not in walking distance ). They offer a shuttle to all the activities and the city itself but I found that to be rather pricy!! The dorm and the bathrooms were clean but rather basic. They cooked us food which was tasty...

We first visited nearly 3 years ago and were happy to find it just as chilled and friendly this time around. Basic backpackers a short drive out of town (down a gravel road but our little rental car managed fine!) with incredible views of the valley and lovely outdoor areas with a bar, fire pit and braai. The owners are...

This backpackers had a lovely view and outside area as well as as a cosy living room space with a fire burning every night. The dorm was fine, spacious and always clean. It was slightly annoying having to get shuttles everywhere, so if you don't have your own car be aware of that! Very friendly staff also!

We had a really nice stay at african array. The people are really friendly and helpfull. Besides that, the food is amazing! And then lets talk about the view. Sunset on the terrace with a drink and a fire. It was so beautiful. They can book you some activities if you want or give you some advise. We stayed in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This one of a kind hostel and lodge is nestled between an array of Fynbos(Wild flowers)on a cliff with a 270 degree panoramic view overlooking a lake all the way to the warm Indian ocean and the Robberg Peninsula. We believe we have the most fantastic view on the Garden Route and seeing is believing. A true hidden GEM.Relax with a book in the garden on one of the hammock under the trees or surf the net on our free WIFI. The building is a beautiful Villa with high ceilings and large windows so you never miss out on the view where ever you are in the Lodge. All our bedrooms have a fantastic view with lots of natural light at anytime of the day. The atmosphere is homely and we pride our self on giving our guest the VIP treatment at all times. Fancy catering for your self, our kitchen is well equipped and you will need nothing else to prepare any meal. If you feel like having a braai(BBQ) then we will light up the fire and provide you the spices. The beers is always cold and the fires always hot so why not spoil your self and pay us a visit. ... more   less
