The Periwinkle Lodge was modern, clean, and very friendly. The lodge is on the bay so views from the room and the common area are great. The breakfast each day was well presented and very good, with lots of choices. The best part was the staff: everyone were friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Periwinkle Guest Lodge, and wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were exceptional and made us feel welcome and at home during our stay. They were incredibly friendly and great at offering suggestions on things to do and see in the area. The guest lodge is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable,...

My wife and I stayed here for just 1 night in April, ‘15 on our way to Amakahla Game Reserve. Although our itinerary didn’t allow it, we would have been happy to stay several more days. The Periwinkle is a top-notch small guest house and would be an excellent choice for a beach holiday. It is located in an upscale...

We stopped over at this B & B on our way back from Cape Town- we found the rooms clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and we found the staff to be very attentive and most welcoming. Would highly recommend.

A lovely boutique hotel on the seafront over looking Plettenberg Bay. The staff were very friendly. The main area was very pleasant. We had a balcony but the bedroom was very small and basic but the view made up for this.

We stayed for 2 nights. The guest house is not particularly attractive from the outside but I suppose that's in keeping with the mix of design styles that characterise all the front line properties along this beach. Inside it is amazing, with a large open living area on the 1st floor with large balcony allowing great views of the sea...
