This review is not intended to knock the friendly hosts of the establishment but attention to detail is imperative. I suggest the owners give their place a facelift. At R650 a night per room out of season, the rooms we booked had garden views. On entering the first thing i noticed in my room was the scuff marks on the... More

Big, comfortable rooms, warm and friendly hosts, welcome sherry, and a top location just a short walk from the town centre. Why would you not ant to stay here? If ever we return to Plettenberg Bay, we shan't think about staying anywhere else. It's great.

Location is perfect and rooms are very nice. Service and breakfast was great and nothing to complain. TV receptions was a bit poor and the internet slow but to do holidays there those things doesn´t matter.

We spent three nights at Swallows Nest and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom were tastefully furnished, clean and great thought had been given to the needs of the visitors. There was a fridge provided, mineral water, a good selection of glasses and cutlery as well as a welcome carafe of sherry. Breakfast was excellent! Gerald and his... More

We stayed at Swallows Nest for two nights. The upper rooms are very spacious and one has a little balcony with a view over the lovely garden and pool. The temperature of the pool water was just right and after a nice relaxing swim a tan in the sun is the thing to do. Breakfast is exceptionally good and the... More

Friendly owners who are more than happy to advise on routes, sightseeing, eating venues etc - and supply accurate detailed directions etc. Great room with an ENORMOUS bathroom - easily suited to a major 5-star hotel suite. Great huge bedroom fitted out with everything you could wish for! Highly recommended. LawrieW, Brisbane

We stayed 2 weeks in February and was well looked after by Gerald & staff. We have stayed in many B&B's but this tops the list. Gerald & staff have gone to great lengths to make us feel like this was our own home with the little touches in the room. Breakfast was excellent also the pool which we used... More

We had a fantastic stay in Plett, this B&B is the best. Good sized room with sea view, nice pool area and garden. Terita, Gerry and Gerald , not forgetting Edith and her crew looked after us so well, all our needs catered for even an umbrella (which we only used once). Breakfast was very very good, with friendly atmosphere.Looking... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the start of our holiday. I kind of wished we stayed longer in Plett than moving onto Knysna but that's another story. The place has lovely views of the Ocean and great swimming pool area. I loved the little touched in the room, like a little survival kit including plasters, headache tablets etc. Really... More
