We had been given vouchers for the self-catering cottages at Bella Manga as a birthday gift. Seeing that Belle Manga was a four star rated country house (well deserved) we expected the self catering to also be four star - It isn't! Our cottage (number 2) was spacious and clean - lounge, separate kitchen with dining annex and two double...

We've just come back from another stay in Bella Manga and we had such a great time again. Fiona and Ray made us so welcome. We stayed on a 'Bed and breakfast' basis and Fiona's English breakfasts are a brilliant start to the day. As we sat outside monkeys came to visit across the field on a couple of occasions....

We have just spent a weekend at Bella Manga and were lucky to stay in one of the rondavels which exceeded our expectations. Our breakfast as well as the service was excellent. Thank you Ray and Fiona for making our weekend so special and we will definitely recommend Bella Manga to our friends

Thankyou both for your kind words - we really enjoyed having you here and glad that you enjoyed the "evening of jokes" supplied by one of our Brit guests!! Would love to see you both again soon. lol Ray and Fiona x

This is my fifth visit to Bella Manga and as always it did not disappoint and lived up to my high expectations. I have sampled both self catering and bed and breakfast options. The self catering choice is well facilitated and provides comprehensive starter amenities and indeed if you need anything you only have to ask the friendly owners, Ray...

I am a tour operator travelling the world so appreciate warm hospitality, comfort and good home cooking. Bella Manga is a real find...hidden away about 15 mins from Plett. The owners Fiona and Ray Beresford made me very welcome. I stayed in a room close to the pool on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was spotlessly clean. The...

We spent our Valentine weekend at this guesthouse and found that it was exactly as it was advertised. We had a nice breakfast with ownwes and they were very hospitable and friendly. The premises were neat and tidy taking into account that it's actually a farming area. We were happy to stay 15 min from the rut of the town...

We were over in SA for our son's wedding in PE which was at the beginning of January but, as we arrived for Christmas, decided we should get out from under every ones feet and had 4 day break before New Year and The Wedding. What a find! We were greeted by Fiona would was ultra efficient in sorting out...

When we phoned to book 2 nights accommodation we were led to believe that they were fully booked and that they only had one double room available so we took it. On arrival we were taken to one of the renovated "stable rooms" which wasn't exactly the luxurious living advertised in their brochure. And there were NO other people staying...

We have two sides to our business - one being self-catering and the other is bed and breakfast and as mentioned all of our self-catering was fully booked as it is until the 20th of May 2016, the rooms that you saw empty were b and b rooms. As for receiving a threatening letter this just states a few of...

Place has for stars. For what? The foul language used and disgustingly dirty room. When phoned to check in we were told to wait outside the gate. On arrival the owner was clearly intoxicated. There was no shower soap. Being self catering all the utensils were filthy. We were told by the Ray there is no staff on a weekend....

Our Guest House is registered as being four star with the Tourism Grading Council and has been so for over 10 years with hundreds of people staying here and enjoying their stay to return again with friends. Unfortunately there was an unavoidable wait at the gate of about 10 mins for guests checking in as I had to take the...

This is a beautiful farm with very friendly staff - and animals! Beautiful, cozy room, with a great bathroom and shower. I took a late night swim, which was great, and could see so many stars! Would've loved to stay longer
